The contract includes some of the most prestigious events in the golfing calendar, including the BMW Championship, the Barclays Scottish Open, the Daily Telegraph Dunlop Masters and the Senior British Open.

Tom Critchley, Event Staging Manager at PGA European Tour, said: “We had worked with our previous supplier for the past 20 years, but after a review of services we decided to put the contract out to tender.

“We met with three companies, but the quality of the buildings and the level of service that Portakabin Event Hire is able to provide really stood out from the rest. We worked with the Portakabin team when they provided all the portable site accommodation for the Ryder Cup in 2002, allowing us to see these high standards in action and we were very impressed.”

Portakabin Event Hire will provide a range of buildings, which will be used for a wide variety of purposes. From ticket offices to bathroom facilities, medical centres to high security storage, the buildings will be delivered and installed by highly experienced professionals and accompanied by a dedicated on-site team to ensure full maintenance of the buildings throughout the events.
