FlowSense to Speak on Biometrics at the Minneapolis Rotary Club
FlowSense LLC, Maple Grove, MN - March 12, 2006. Paul Smallwood, President and CEO of FlowSense will be the presenter on March 31, 2006 at 12 Noon - 50th Floor, IDS Center at the upcoming Minneapolis Rotary Club Friday Program.
(PRWEB) March 17, 2006 -- In his presentation, Smallwood will introduce the use of biometrics including facial recognition, fingerprint scan, and iris scan for physical access control and identity fraud prevention. Identity theft is a growing problem in Minnesota and with the integration of multiple biometrics, the technology has given a new outlook on today's law enforcement process as more security and government standards are being developed. Public safety and other law enforcement organizations are quickly embracing the new technology while evaluating current infrastructures to provide the most cost effective and integrated solution.
The Minneapolis Rotary Club is one of the oldest in the nation and also the largest with a diverse collection of civic-minded business and professional leaders who join together for fellowship, professional enrichment, and the opportunity to serve.
