Von Ahnen Retires After 21 Years at Customized Structures, Inc.

Bud Von Ahnen will retire after spending 21 years working for Customized Structures, Inc. in Claremont.

Claremont, NH (PRWEB) May 8, 2006 -- It’s the end of an era at Customized Structures. After 21 years of service, Bud Von Ahnen will be retiring from the company.

Bud’s first day at CSI was January 14, 1985 and since then he has held various positions within the company. Customized Structures had not even begun production when Von Ahnen started. He signed on as a licensed electrician to help tool up the original facility on Plains Road in Claremont. Once production began in February of 1985, Bud assumed the role of head line electrician. He helped to put procedures and practices in the electrical department in place, some of which are still used today. His many roles in the company have included Assistant Production Manager, Quality Control Director, Customer Service Manager, Safety Director and Inventory Control. He will be retiring as CSI’s Chief Estimator and Cost Accountant.

While at CSI, Von Ahnen devoted his full attention to helping develop Customized Structures into the number one systems built housing provider in New England. He has always taken a leadership position and has had a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Bud has also been one to take on a new assignment or challenge with passion and commitment in both his personal and professional life.

Von Ahnen will no doubt stay busy as the building inspector for the town of Charlestown. He also plans on spending some more time with family and friends and possibly learning to golf. Everyone at Customized Structures wishes him many happy years of retirement!
