President of Builders Association of Central MA Appointed to State Level Position

The Builders Association of Central Mass (BACM) is pleased to announce the appointment of their president, Tom Revane of Revane Development Co. Worcester, MA, to the state-level, senior vice president position at the Home Builders Association of Massachusetts (HBAM).

Worcester, MA (PRWEB) August 3, 2006 -- The Builders Association of Central Mass (BACM) is pleased to announce the appointment of their president, Tom Revane of Revane Development Co. Worcester, MA, to the state-level, senior vice president position at the Home Builders Association of Massachusetts (HBAM).

Mr. Revane has been a member of the HBAM board of directors and involved on the state level for more than three years, actively participating on several committees including public policy committee and the 40B committee. “By keeping informed at the local and state level, I can help us to keep extremely active on the legislative and regulatory front. We are involved in the issues that affect the home building industry both positively and negatively. It is our goal to create a favorable housing climate for Mass.,” said Mr. Revane.

He will be stepping down from his local presidency in the fall. “My goals of increasing the membership and creating a stronger awareness of the local Builders Association are all moving in the right direction,” he says. “I can direct my attention to focus on the state level.” He acknowledges the shift in the housing industry and feels it is more balanced with growth at a moderate rate.
