Viral Air Solutions Gives Homes a Breath of Fresh Air

Viral Air Solutions announces the launch of their new website today, providing homes across America with healthier breathing environments. Their products eliminate 99.9% of viruses, bacteria, bird flu, mold, mildew, and dust mites, providing purified air and reducing asthma, allergies, and viral outbreaks.

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) February 27, 2007 -- Families across America are breathing easier thanks to recent developments in air safety technology. Viral Air Solutions, a leading provider in the air quality industry, is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, www.viralairsolutions.com. Their website will serve as a vital resource center for consumers who want to protect their families against dangerous air contaminants such as viruses, bacteria, bird flu, allergens, mold, and mildew.

"I am excited about this opportunity to endorse healthier breathing environments for American families," says Barry Nicholson, President and CEO of Viral Air Solutions. "Too many people suffer unnecessarily from allergies and asthma caused by the abundance of air pollutants within their homes. We empower home owners by offering technologically advanced products that eradicate these dangerous elements. "

Airborne contaminants such as dust mites, viruses, bacteria, mold, mildew, and pollen accumulate easily inside houses and trigger allergies, asthma, and other respiratory illnesses which lead to extreme discomfort and even fatality. What homeowners don't realize is that when heating and cooling units are activated, the pollutants are essentially blown into the air and circulated throughout the entire house.

This presents a huge health concern, since the average American spends nearly 90% of their time indoors. In addition to the usual seasonal cold and flu, there is currently a worldwide fear of the deadly bird flu virus and consumers are searching to find ways to completely avoid contact.

"Our website gives home owners a reliable place to turn to for high-quality products, which eliminate 99.9% of all airborne germs and viruses instantly," Nicholson proudly reveals. "Our equipment can work in virtually any HVAC, regardless of size. So, whether the environment is a home, school, office, hospital, fitness facility, or retail store, Viral Air Solutions can protect people from exposure. "

These devices have proven to be the most effective, affordable solution for airborne toxins, killing 99.9% of all germs and viruses (including SARS, Tuberculosis, Pneumonia, Influenza and Bird Flu) and eliminating the number of airborne particles such as pet dander, dust mites, pollen, bacteria, and mold spores.

An increasing number of school districts are implementing this type of technology in their buildings to effectively reduce the amount of viral and bacterial transmission during cold and flu seasons. The results have shown a significant increase in student attendance and an overall improvement in performance within classrooms. Hospitals use Viral Air Solutions to maintain sterile environments and decrease hospital-acquired infections for patients, staff, and visitors. While these products have been a construction standard in new buildings for years, many residents are hearing about the benefits in homes for the first time.

In addition to providing healthy breathing environments, their products cause heat and air conditioning systems to run more efficiently by diminishing particles that otherwise block airflow, saving residents and businesses substantial amounts of energy costs.

To help educate the public on how to create healthier breathing environments, Viral Air Solutions has also released an easy-to-read E-booklet available at: http://www.viralairsolutions.com.

"The bottom line is when people are inside of their homes, they want to feel safe and relaxed. Our products ensure purified breathing environments for families," says Nicholson. "The majority of our residential clients say they can't believe how much healthier and refreshed they feel after having our devices installed in their heating and cooling systems."

To find out how you can protect your family today visit: Viral Air Solutions.

Home Energy Efficiency Dependent on Replacement Window Technology

Home owners planning to maximize the resale value or efficiency of a property diminish their potential when failing to take the importance of modern replacement windows into consideration.

Boston, MA (PRWEB) February 27, 2007 -- Make no mistake about it -- windows are one of the biggest sources of home energy loss. A large majority of your home's energy shortcomings occur through convection, outside air infiltration, conduction and radiation through your windows and doors. Energy and heat value has become a major selling point during the recent boom in renovation resale, and modern replacement windows should be added to any list of planned property improvements to optimize efficiency potential.

Even with newer houses, the windows and doors that can come standard are "builder's" models, designed to be inexpensive and easy to install. These models are not engineered to be energy-efficient, nor are they ever made from high quality materials. That makes window replacement one of the best ways to improve your home's energy efficiency, with the potential to save you thousands of dollars over the years and increase resale values.

Windows and doors are an area in which renovators can never afford to cut corners. Updating inferior models with the latest replacement window technology on the market not only saves current owners a staggering amount of money but can prove overwhelmingly attractive to savvy buyers. The word is getting out that not all replacement windows are created equal, and taking short cuts in this area can greatly limit your asking price. Features to look for in cutting-edge replacement windows include triple-glazing, spacers to reduce condensation, argon and krypton gas insulation and Celuca™ composite frames which deliver twice the insulating value of standard vinyl.

Newpro, a replacement window company in New England, are so confident that their windows will save you money -- they put it in writing. The Newpro Fuel Savings Pledge states that if all windows in the heated areas of a home are replaced with their products, the owner will see at least a 40% reduction in fuel consumption or Newpro will pay the difference -- up to $500. For more information please visit www.Newpro.com">www.Newpro.com or call 866-573-8310 to schedule a consultation.

Imperial Woodworks, Manufacturer of Church Pews, Now Offers Free Evaluation Service to Architects for Pew Placement and Code Adherence

The perfect sanctuary takes church pew design into account right from the initial design, assisted by the right pew manufacturer.

(PRWEB) February 27, 2007 -- When a new church is being designed, or an old church is being renovated, the crucial decision regarding its sanctuary is selection of church pews and their arrangement and placement. Such elements as optimum line-of-sight and hearing, adequate comfort for the duration of the service, and architectural conformity are all high on the list of priorities.

To ensure intelligent selection of church pews, as well as proper measure, code adherence and installation ease, many church building committees as well as religious facility architects involve a competent church furniture manufacturer. "You need to have someone you can go to who has experience and knows what they're doing," says Building Finance Chairman Larry Linman of the American Lutheran Church in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Like many churches across the nation, after careful consideration they decided on Imperial Woodworks of Waco, Texas, a church furniture manufacturer and specialist in the installation of church pews for 46 years.

Tony Mull, an architect with The Aspen Group of Frankfurt, Illinois, agrees. "The elements of restrictions of how long the pews can be and their spacing are rigid to a point that many times the sanctuary needs to be designed around the pews," he says. "There are issues of whether the floor is flat or sloped, of clearance and making sure the aisles are right, and ensuring you are able to seat the right number of people." Mull has also worked extensively with Imperial Woodworks, involving them from the beginning of projects.

A church building committee, when specifying a pew, is also looking to the architect for guidance, and an architect being guided by an experienced church furniture manufacturer will be able to provide the best service to the church. This particular company offers a free service to architects who can electronically transmit plans and have them evaluated, and assistance is offered in code adherence, clearance, and other issues.

For the choosing of church pews, after extensive consultation with the church, the company sends a representative with sample materials who makes every effort to accommodate all that church's particular needs. For example, church pew seating may not be adequate for the entire sanctuary, and the company can provide removable seating, perfectly matched to the fixed pews. The company is also well-versed in the requirements of different denominations.

Another important aspect of involving a pew expert, both for the architect and the church, is an understanding of the science of church pew design. The construction of the pew itself to last through normal moisture problems, the pitch of the pew backs, and proper accommodations for risers and kneelers are just a few of the crucial issues.

Of equal importance, of course, is the on-time delivery of the exact product ordered. Knowing how important that first service is, the company makes sure not only that delivery occurs on time, but proper installation as well, including any needed last-minute changes.

Involvement of an expert on church pews such as Imperial Woodworks right from the beginning of a church construction or renovation will ensure the best possible receipt of the sermon from the pulpit, and the comfort of parishioners for many generations to come.

LGC Wireless In-building, Multi-carrier Cellular Network Pays Off at Borgaga Hotel Casino and Spa

Atlantic City resort deploys in-building multi-carrier wireless cellular coverage; carrier traffic soars beyond expectations.

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) February 26, 2007 -- LGC Wireless, the leader in advanced in-building wireless network systems, today announced that Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, NJ has deployed its InterReach Unison® wireless system to support enhanced multi-carrier wireless cellular coverage. So far, carrier traffic generated over the system has been as high as double the expected volume, and traffic levels will soar further as The Water Club at Borgata (an 800-room boutique hotel) opens in early 2008.

While Nextel initially deployed an in-building wireless system for its subscribers (as well as hotel employees, who have standardized on Nextel phones) in 2003, Borgata chose to purchase its own multi-carrier system in 2005 in order to speed deployment and minimize disruption to the facility's public areas. On line since July 2006, the Unison system currently supports Nextel and Cingular subscribers. Sprint has also contracted for cellular coverage on the system, and other major carriers are in various stages of negotiations with Borgata.

"As the premier hotel-casino in Atlantic City, we continually strive to offer an unprecedented level of service and comfort for our guests," said John Forelli, vice president of information technology at Borgata. "We want to enable clear cellular coverage for our guests from as many carriers as possible, as quickly as possible."

Borgata selected LGC Wireless for the new in-building cellular system because LGC supplied the initial Nextel system.

"We have been impressed with the reliable equipment and outstanding service we have received from LGC Wireless since 2003," noted Forelli. "It was an easy choice to go back to them when we decided to implement multi-carrier coverage."

The Water Club at Borgata will also use LGC's in-building cellular coverage solutions.

"Cell phone coverage for guests is now table stakes in the premium hospitality sector, and we are proud to have delivered this service to the number one property in Atlantic City," said John Spindler, vice president of marketing at LGC Wireless. "We value our partnership with Borgata and look forward to addressing their needs as The Water Club nears completion."

Starry Night Lights To Showcase Sky Friendly Outdoor Lights At The International Dark Sky Association Annual Meeting

Starry Night Lights founder and President Anthony Arrigo will be attending the 19th annual meeting of the International Dark Sky Association (IDA) to showcase his company's lineup of sky friendly outdoor light fixtures.

Park City, UT (PRWEB) February 26, 2007 -- Starry Night Lights founder and President Anthony Arrigo will be attending the 19th annual meeting of the International Dark Sky Association (IDA) to showcase his company's lineup of sky friendly outdoor light fixtures.

The event will take place March 4-6 at the Doubletree at Reid Park in Tucson, Arizona with energy savings, sustainability, and urban planning as its focus. Among those scheduled to present are leading scientists, educators, government officials and a number of power and lighting company executives. Anyone interested in the future of our planet is invited to attend.

Light pollution showcases the current lack of sustainability built into our society. It wastes billions of dollars and vast quantities of energy annually. The sky glow seen over most urban and suburban areas is one of its many manifestations. It is caused by excessive light shining skywards. This glow overwhelms the night sky preventing many people from seeing more than a handful of stars at night.

Night sky friendly outdoor lighting has been the perennial call from the IDA and Starry Night Lights has answered that call. With the lighting industry's most comprehensive collection of exclusively sky friendly outdoor lights, Starry Night Lights is a leader in the struggle to protect and preserve our heritage of star-filled night skies. Mr. Arrigo will be on hand to showcase a selection of attractive, energy efficient night sky friendly outdoor lights.

"Most light fixtures in use today shine much of the light they produce up into the night sky. This is incredibly wasteful and environmentally destructive," according to Arrigo. "Our fixtures put all the light they emit down onto the ground where it's needed. This allows our customers to use lower wattages for a given lighting need, resulting in significant savings on utility bills and dramatic reductions in green house gas emissions."

About Starry Night Lights
Starry Night Lights is the leading provider of night sky friendly outdoor lighting products for residential and commercial applications. Each and every exterior light fixture offered for sale on their website has been hand picked to meet night sky friendly outdoor lighting criteria. Starry Night Lights operates out of beautiful Park City, Utah.

New SWIFT Mobile Provides Live Weather Radar and Customized Severe Weather Alerts on Mobile Devices with Internet Connection

The new SWIFT Mobile is the most comprehensive weather tracking software specifically designed for use with handheld and mobile devices such as PDAs, PocketPCs, and SmartPhones in the U.S. Location-based technology allows the user to customize the display of weather radar and be automatically alerted to weather before it arrives.

Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) February 26, 2007 -- SWIFT Weather (www.swiftweather.com) announced today the company will release the new SWIFT Mobile on March 31, 2007 - the most comprehensive weather tracking tool specifically designed for use with handheld devices. The new software will run on Windows Mobile devices, including: Motorola Q; Palm Treo; Samsung BlackJack; and T-Mobile Dash, SDA, and MDA.

"SWIFT Mobile will provide users of handheld devices the unique opportunity to know more than the local weatherman - and know it first," said Rory Groves, CEO of SWIFT Weather. "With the ability to combine multiple layers of weather data - including radar, cloud imagery, and severe weather warnings for blizzards, hurricanes, hail, wind, or tornadoes - the average person will no longer be at the mercy of local weather service reports on radio and TV - which is invaluable. An audible ring-tone and display on the handheld device allows the consumer to learn first-hand of the location of the weather threat - and the estimated time of its arrival to their current location. This will be an indispensable tool for business professionals who travel frequently, the construction industry, emergency management teams, anyone involved in work outdoors - and the average person who needs advanced notice of severe weather to safeguard their property and loved ones."

In addition, the new SWIFT Mobile delivers daily forecasts based on location; weather data can be animated to show activity over the previous hour; and a desktop display of current weather conditions provide an at-a-glance weather profile.

Winning Team Launches The Renewable Energy Centre

A website launched this week is the first of its kind in the UK and is set to lead the way as a primary source of information and reference for renewable energy. The website is targeted at homeowners who want save money on energy bills and for commercial companies looking to improve cash flow and reduce their carbon footprint. It also provides an invaluable source of new business for companies supplying products and services in this emerging sector.

Kenilworth, Warwickshire, UK (PRWEB) February 26, 2007 -- A website launched this week is the first of its kind in the UK and is set to lead the way as a primary source of information and reference for renewable energy.

The website, The Renewable Energy Centre has been established by the winning team already responsible for one of the UK's busiest property portals, Email 4 Property.

The website is targeted at homeowners who want save money on energy bills and for commercial companies looking to improve cash flow and reduce their carbon footprint. It also provides an invaluable source of new business for companies supplying products and services in this emerging sector.

Entrepreneur Richard Simmons, who was behind the success of Email4Property which now sees over 1 million visitors a month, is convinced this new venture will also become one of the most accessed websites in the UK as he explained;

"I was investigating installing Solar Water Heating for my family home and realised that there was no comprehensive point of reference where I could find the information and contacts I needed. With so much focus on global warming it was obvious that there was a huge gap in the market for this kind of website. We are very excited about how the website will serve both people and businesses and help to accelerate the use of renewable technology within the UK."

The website pulls a wealth of information into one central online location and gives its visitors a practical introduction to renewable technologies, local and national directories of contractors and suppliers, advice on technology choices and installation, links to community organisations, lobbyists and government contacts and information on sources of funding

In addition The Renewable Energy Centre website holds a comprehensive diary of UK and international renewable energy conferences and exhibitions, a directory of links to educational resources for schools and details of universities offering specialist courses.

Tim Ovens, Sales Manager for The Renewable Energy Centre added; "National trends show that renewable energy isn't a choice for businesses to buy into any more but a necessity in order to maintain the sustainability of the planet. This website provides a huge range of resources and has one of the only fully comprehensive directories of companies relating to renewable energy in the UK."

The Renewable Energy Centre has been labelled an authority website in this arena and provides an invaluable source of information to help anyone combat the potentially devastating effects of global warming through the use of renewable energy.

No Second Mortgage Required for Real Estate Advertising Campaign

FL real estate office experiences sales growth with newspaper insert print advertising campaign.

Richmond, VA (PRWEB) February 26, 2007 - In today's highly competitive real estate environment, realtors rely on targeted print advertising more than ever to generate new leads, facilitate the sales process, and gain an edge over the competition.

Real estate flyers and newspaper inserts allow prospects to interact with homes and properties through sight and touch, and increase the likelihood that a prospect will inquire about the property or become a qualified lead. Typically, realtors will highlight the best features of the house or property and list the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, while including easy to find contact information where prospects can direct messages. The increasing popularity of printed inserts is a direct result of the valuable advantages offered over other similar priced advertising methodologies. Instant benefits such as low production costs, targeted marketing, lasting impact, and trackable results provide realtors with the tools needed to accurately measure their return on investment (ROI).

According to experienced realtor Nicola Silkstone-Race of Florida Choice Realty in Orlando, Florida, "Things change fast in real estate and you need to be able to get your message out just as fast. With Print and Deliver, turn around time is not an issue." The realtor went on to add, "You can go from concept to finished product faster than you can with any other print provider. When time is money, Print and Deliver does just what their name says."

Realtors have become savvy to the modernization of the printing industry, correlating changes in technology, and resulting cost-effective printing capabilities of companies such as Print and Deliver located in Richmond, Virginia. Full-color printing is no longer too expensive for small businesses and self-employed real estate agents. Although in the past color printing was an expensive process, modern printing companies such as Print and Deliver offer first-rate print advertisements at affordable rates. For only $375, realtors can purchase 10,000 full-color, two-sided, newspaper inserts on glossy paper. These low-cost newspaper inserts usually contain features or information such as coupons or a website landing page to enable tracking and monitoring of return on investment.

Print and Deliver's website (www.printanddeliver.com) is a dynamic business center composed of cost-effective print advertising strategies and valuable business resources. Registered users have access to free market-specific research data, templates for effective print advertising, on-line customer assistance, and articles focused on successful business marketing techniques.

NAI Capital Pacific Rim Division to Secure Investors for China's Nanpu Economic Development Area

Broker with leading Southern California commercial real estate firm is selected to represent Chinese City of Nanpu to bring developers, investors, retailers and industrial businesses to the region.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 26, 2007 -- China's Nanpu Economic Trade Development Area (NEDA) has appointed Christine A. Lee, Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of NAI Capital's Southern California based Pacific Rim Division, as the exclusive commercial real estate representative for the region's trade development zone. Ms. Lee will act as a consultant to secure investors, developers, enterprises and financial institutions to invest in NEDA.

"This is an unprecedented contract for NAI Capital," said Bennard Gillison, Senior Vice President and Director of the firm's Corporate Services Division who is working with Ms. Lee to secure contracts from U.S. corporations interested in doing business in China. "Christine's relationships with China and this exclusive agreement with NEDA present an extraordinary opportunity for NAI Capital and NAI Global clients to invest in China. This agreement also reinforces our firm's capability of conducting business on a global scale," said Mr. Gillison.

Within 130 miles of Beijing, the port city of Nanpu has a population of 7 million people. It is located in an urban area comprised of over 299 million people.

The Nanpu Economic Development Area is located in the Hebei Province of China, 12 miles from Caofeidian port. Newly constructed and now one of China's largest ports, Caofeidian was built to service major iron, steel, chemical and petrol industries. The City of Nanpu supports the infrastructure and growth of Caofeidian's ports. Development in the port has been expedited in anticipation of the 2008 Olympic Games, as companies such as Shougang Iron and Steel Group will move its Beijing plant to Caofeidian. The City of Nanpu is also home to Nanpu Salt works, Tangshan Sanyou Alkali Company, several Korean hi-tech companies, and the manufacturing and distribution centers for titanium and ceramics industries.

"Nanpu is an ideal location for industries interested in expanding their activities in China," said Ms. Lee. "With Caofeidian's deep-water, ice-free port along the Bohai Sea receiving up to 300,000-ton vessels and housing two 250,000-ton ore berths, international trade businesses should take a serious look at Nanpu," noted Ms. Lee.

Since co-founding NAI Capital's Pacific Rim Division in 2005, Ms. Lee has helped the firm develop a solid team of bilingual real estate and investment professionals that specialize in cross-cultural negotiations. Ms. Lee's family is originally from Northern China and Ms. Lee herself was raised in Japan.

"Christine understands Chinese and Japanese culture and is an asset to NAI Capital clients looking to invest in the Nanpu region," said Gillison. "Her relationships throughout Asia afford NAI Capital clients with unique access to opportunities that might otherwise be missed due to language and cultural barriers."

Fast Growing On-Line Contractor Lead Generation Firm Signs Partnership with Case Design / Remodeling Inc

All Around the Home (AATH) contractor directory has expanded nationally and has launched a new site. AATH recently partnered with Case Design / Remodeling Inc. to work on lead generation for Case's franchises in Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia.

Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) February 25, 2007 -- Maryland-based All Around the Home (http://www.allaroundthehome.com) announced a successful start to a partnership with one of the country's largest and most successful Home Remodeling, General Contracting and Handyman firms, Case Design / Remodeling, Inc. (http://www.casedesign.com).

All Around The Home (AATH) and Case Design entered into a service agreement where as of February 15th, AATH will be generating one-to-one direct service request on-line leads for Case Design. The initial agreement has AATH working on lead generation for Case Design franchises in the Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland area.

AATH has seen substantial growth over the past several months for two main reasons. The first is that the company provides a unique online lead generation approach. The leads AATH provides are all one-to-one direct requests for information from a homeowner directly to an individual contractor. The contractor online lead generation industry is predominantly centered around leads that are developed from a homeowner and then sold to multiple companies. All Around the Home co-owner Ryan Corey feels that the one to one approach is the more effective. "In regards to the nature of our one-to-one approach on leads, contractors report to us an easier initial sales approach and generally a higher close rate."

The second main reason for the rapid growth is that AATH recently launched a new site backbone that allows for greater client and service category capacity. The capabilities of the new site allow for easier company additions and information management. The new site backbone was built by Baltimore-based E-Moxie Data Solutions (http://www.e-moxie.com), a partner web design organization.

All Around the Home is currently serving contractors in much of the eastern United States and has expansion plans to cover all of the country by the end of the year.

All Around the Home (http://www.allaroundthehome.com) is a national home improvement contractor directory. Homeowners can find established, quality contractors including general contractors for all types of repair and home improvement projects.

Elegant Easy-fix Gutter Now Has Greater Capacity

The new Serpentine 175 high capacity gutter from Guttermaster is designed to cope with demanding applications and extreme weather. With a 175mm diameter and 130mm depth, there is a 60 percent boost in capacity over the highly successful Serpentine 135 gutter. The extended range gives architects, builders, roofing contractors and plumbers more choice. The elegant, extruded, bracket-less aluminium profile looks good, is easy to install, and will provide decades of service with only minimal maintenance.

Rochdale, UK, (PRWEB) February 25, 2007 -- The new Serpentine 175 high capacity gutter from Guttermaster is designed to cope with demanding applications and extreme weather.

Architects want gutters that combine function and good looks. The precision extruded Serpentine has clean lines and attractive curves to create additional interest at eaves level. A choice of over 250 RAL and BS colours in durable polyester powder coat gloss, satin or matt finishes makes the gutter easy to customise to suit building style and situation.

Builders, roofing contractors, plumbers and other site trades demand gutters that are easy to install and that are rigid and tough enough for site conditions. The Serpentine's bracket-less design means installation is a simple one stage process of attaching the upper edge of the gutter to the fascia. The rigid design, light weight and the elimination of brackets, all help to simplify level setting and speed site work. Importantly, these features ensure jobs are completed in the allocated time window to avoid delaying following trades.

Clients want rainwater systems that have the capacity to cope with extreme weather events and that they can fit and forget. Serpentine gutters meet these needs perfectly. This is because of their high capacity and free-flow characteristics and because they are free from problems of corrosion, ultra-violet degradation and embrittlement that affect steel and plastic. Occasional cleaning is all that is required. Here the Serpentine's half-round profile helps because its hydraulic efficiency discourages debris and sediment accumulation in the channel.

Sustainability is an issue for everyone and Serpentine gutters address this need. Aluminium is exceptionally durable. With only modest care, Serpentine gutters will last the lifetime of the building so the initial energy investment is made only once. At the end of its useful life aluminium has a high residual value, so recycling is very attractive and consumes only five percent of the energy used for virgin material.

Serpentine gutters are suitable for applications in housing, education, health, leisure retail and commercial buildings. They can be used in combination with Guttermaster's ranges of traditional and contemporary rainwater down pipes, including their flush fitting anti-climb design. The company has made managing rainwater a specialty and they are happy to give advise on the sizing and selection of rainwater products for roofs of differing construction, area and pitch. Detailed design guidance is also available from their web site at www.guttermaster.co.uk/design_guidance.htm.

New Environmentally Friendly Product Safely Treats Oil and Gas Spills

Natural Environmental Systems, LLC announces the addition of SPILLTREAT, for fuel and oil spill clean up from hard surfaces, to its existing line of all natural microbial products.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) February 23, 2007 -- Natural Environmental Systems, LLC announces the release of its new environmentally friendly industrial grade cleaner, SPILLTREAT, for the cleaning of oil and fuel spills and to remove oil and grease stains. The product is an all-natural alternative to toxic, caustic chemical solvents and chemical degreasers that are so prevalent.

SPILLTREAT contains a proprietary blend of 4 high-end surfactants, which include 2 macro-surfactants that encapsulates the hydrocarbons and prevent them from being re-deposited on the treated surface, a penetrant surfactant to ensure the product will penetrate into cracks and crevices of the treated surface and finally a wetting surfactant to adjust the surface tension and allow increased movement of the product across the treated surface. In addition to the surfactants, SPILLTREAT also contains a high concentration of petroleum degrading microbes that naturally break down the hydrocarbons and converts them to harmless water and carbon dioxide to complete the treatment process.

SPILLTREAT provides benefits such as: biodegrades oil and fuel spills, reduces fire hazards, reduces slipping hazards, inerts volatile spills, removes stubborn oil stains and controls odors.

"We are extremely excited about this new product and its wide array of uses, particularly in the commercial and industrial sectors. This product is ideal in the oil industry for keeping rigs clean, reducing slippery floor surfaces and treating spills and leaks from refineries and production facilities. Railroad companies and rail yards will find it useful in treating leaks and spills on tracks and for cleaning cars. It is also an excellent degreaser for tools and heavy machinery parts in all types of manufacturing processes and will help reduces hazardous waste streams. Pretty much any place oil spill clean up is required or petroleum products are used , whether it be gasoline or diesel fuels, oil and grease, hydraulic fluid, etc, SPILLTREAT will have a use," states Casey Coke, Natural Environmental Systems, LLC.

SPILLTREAT is applied with water through either a water type fire extinguisher or a pump up garden sprayer. The solution of SPILLTREAT and water is sprayed thoroughly over the area and allowed to sit for approximately 10-15 minutes. Tougher stains may require scrubbing. The solution is then rinsed away, whereby the microbes will take over the degradation process. Tools and the like can simply be soaked in the solution.

SPILLTREAT is available in 1-gallon jugs and 5-gallon super concentrated pails, which yield 20 of the regular gallons.

To learn more about SPILLTREAT and to request a free sample, visit www.naturalenviro.com/spilltreat.htm or call 800-999-9345.

Houses with Hardwood Floors Sell Faster and at Greater Prices than Those Without

Having wood flooring installed is a remodeling project that can increase the value of your home and help it to sell more quickly. However, choosing the right wood flooring requires research and expert advice. RenovatorsPlace.com, an online home improvement resource, offers multiple articles for homeowners with tips on how to select and care for hardwood flooring.

(PRWEB) February 23, 2007 -- RenovatorsPlace.com can help homeowners make the right choice when selecting hardwood floors for their homes and can help them maintain their investment. Installing hardwood floors is a worthwhile investment for homeowners and can cause it to sell more quickly. However, it is also a major remodeling project that requires research and expert advice. RenovatorsPlace.com, an online home improvement resource, offers tips, resources and tools to help homeowners with home improvement projects and also offers articles to help homeowners install and care for hardwood floors (http://www.renovatorsplace.com/floors/wood-floors.cfm).

Installing hardwood floors has been shown to increase the value of homes and can help them sell faster. The National Wood Flooring Association reports that in a recent national survey, 90 percent of real estate agents said that houses with hardwood floors influence a home's marketability. Fifty-eight percent of agents surveyed agreed that homes with wood floors sell for up to 10 percent more than homes without wood floors. Further, 46 percent agreed that homes with wood floors sell faster than homes without.

On average, installing a hardwood floor costs between $9-12 per square foot, though prices can vary more depending on the type of wood. As a result, improperly installed hardwood floors or poor care can end up costing homeowners thousands of dollars. RenovatorsPlace.com spokesperson Leigha Adamson recommends that homeowners do their research before installing a floor, "Choose a flooring contractor whose work you've personally seen and who is willing to work with the design you have in mind. There are a lot of creative options for wood floors when in comes to different types of wood, stains, installation patterns and decorative finishes."

RenovatorsPlace.com offers articles on the benefits of hardwood floors, how to care for wood floors and answers to common flooring questions. In "Selecting the Type of Wood for Your Floor," (http://www.renovatorsplace.com/dsp_articles.cfm?l_article_id=28&l_cat_id=55&catid=18) columnist and home renovation expert Allison Beatty outlines several advantages of wood floors for homeowners who want to stay in their homes rather than sell:
* Warmth: wood creates a warm, natural feeling
* Character: wood floors evoke the nostalgia of older homes
* Design: wood flooring can blend or contrast with wood furniture and cabinets

RenovatorsPlace.com is an online home improvement resource that provides tips, articles and local contractor directories. It features interviews with homeowners and photos of their real remodeling experiences.

Homebuilders Call for Flexibility in Green Building

PVC products support energy efficiency in all climates.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) February 22, 2007 -- Energy efficiency is a major focus for home buyers and homebuilders, but a one-size-fits-all green building standard is not the answer, the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) told a Senate panel last week. Speaking for the association, Alaska homebuilder Jack Hébert said, “Only flexible, locally grown green building programs can adequately take local issues, architecture, weather, and geographical differences into account.”

The NAHB has issued Model Green Home Building Guidelines that allow builders to address the local environment and assess life-cycle costs based on local building codes and climate zones.

“Homebuilders look to PVC products to increase energy efficiency, whether in hot or cold climates,” said Tim Burns, President of the Vinyl Institute.

For example, PVC figures prominently at the new Cold Climate Housing Research Center in Fairbanks, Alaska. Designed with daylighting in mind, the Center uses robust Capitol Glass/Northerm commercial-rated vinyl (PVC) triple-glazed windows.

Hébert, who is president and CEO of the Center, uses Northerm vinyl windows on all the homes built by his own company, Hebert Homes/Taiga Woodcraft. According to data from the Department of Energy, homeowners can save between $125 and $340 per year by replacing single pane windows with ENERGYSTAR® vinyl windows.

In Hawaii on the other hand, energy efficiency is hardly a matter of capturing heat and light and guarding against cold. Major energy bills enacted in 2006 included promulgating a tropical energy efficiency building code. A new residential energy code, geared to retaining the coolness within air-conditioned homes, requires R-19 or equivalent roofs. The code allows several paths to achieve this, including cool roofs. Burns pointed out that PVC is a major material for light, reflective cool roofs, which not only lower the temperature within the building, but also reduce the “urban heat island” effect, thereby reducing smog.

Speedheat Enhances Green Building Efforts with New Generation4 Electric Radiant Floor Heating

Since 1985, Speedheat® has helped create healthier environments, conserve energy and efficiently warm up cold spaces. As a world-leader in the radiant floor heating industry for over 20 years, Speedheat® offers many 'green' advantages and promotes efficiency and conservation through avoiding waste. Their newest systems use very little energy to operate and run on electricity, a renewable resource.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 22, 2007 -- Can 'green building' really make you healthy, wealthy and wise? To many builders and homeowners, the answer is a resounding yes. As residential green design concepts have become more mainstream, there is a growing movement to find unique products that improve indoor air quality, reduce energy costs and protect the environment all while enhancing personal comfort.

One unique 'green' product that is growing in popularity is electric radiant floor heating by Speedheat®. Their Generation4™ underfloor warming systems simultaneously promote health, conservation, safety and comfort, making them an ideal choice as a green building product. Although the concept of radiant heating has been around since Roman times, Speedheat® has taken this technology to the highest level with their energy efficient systems that are installed directly under virtually any flooring material.

"Speedheat® has always promoted conservation, efficiency, health and comfort," explains Pieter Jansens, Chairman of Speedheat International. "Since 1985, we have been educating consumers on the many benefits of electric radiant floor heating. Our proprietary G4™ systems are extremely efficient, so they help conserve energy, and they are powered by electricity, which is a renewable energy source. Speedheat's advanced floor warming systems also promote healthier environments and create luxurious warmth that enhances personal comfort. For all these reasons, Speedheat® is a smart choice to enhance green building initiatives."

Radiant Heating by Speedheat® is a Healthy Choice:

Green building and remodeling projects often address improving indoor air quality. In fact, poor indoor air quality is ranked as one of the top five environmental risks to public health by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Studies also indicate that air pollution inside the home can be two to five times higher (and occasionally 100 times higher) than the air outside the home.

Speedheat's Generation4™ underfloor heating systems can help improve indoor air quality by reducing the levels of dust, pollen, mold, allergens and other pollutants spread by conventional forced air heating systems. The Department of Energy also says that radiant heating can be advantageous to people with severe allergies due to the lack of moving air.

Additionally, Speedheat's Generation4™ systems provide optimum thermal comfort at lower temperatures than conventional forced air heating systems. Lower air temperatures contain a lesser amount of moisture, which helps prevent the growth of mold and reduces the level of other air pollutants, thereby creating a healthier environment.

Conserving Energy with G4™ Systems is a Wealthy Choice:

The famous phrase "a penny saved, is a penny earned" certainly applies to energy conservation efforts. With heating costs continuing to rise, lowering the thermostat and installing energy efficient products and systems makes good fiscal sense from a green building standpoint.

In fact, the Radiant Heating and Cooling Handbook calculates that for every 10 degrees the thermostat is lowered, energy consumption is reduced by approximately 40 percent. While saving energy is desirable, staying comfortable is also important. With floor heating by Speedheat®, consumers can enjoy the best of both worlds.

"Because Speedheat's Generation4™ systems warm from the ground up, they produce evenly heated rooms that are more comfortable at lower temperatures," explains Peter Newman, President of Speedheat U.S. "When Speedheat® systems are installed throughout a home, users can easily reduce the thermostat by 10 degrees or more and still remain comfortable."

Additionally, because Speedheat's ultra thin Generation4™ heating element is optimally engineered to be 'in touch' with floor finishes, it warms floors faster than any other electric radiant floor warming systems and at lower, safer temperatures, so it uses less energy to operate.

Environmentally Friendly G4™ Products are a Wise Choice:

Green design promotes the concepts of sustainability, use of fewer natural resources, as well as the selection of materials that reduce energy demands, lower home maintenance costs and help protect the environment…all while addressing the occupant's desire for improved comfort.

Speedheat's Generation4™ systems use clean, electric energy that is a fast growing renewable resource. Speedheat® systems consume less energy to operate than conventional systems, so they lower energy demands. Generation4™ systems are solid-state and require no maintenance. They do not wear out and need never be replaced, making them better for the environment. G4™ systems also don't produce any odor, fumes, smoke, and they are silent.

In addition, only Speedheat's G4™ systems feature the patented PTCSelfControl™ self-regulating element that helps prevents overheating. The flexible heating element is the thinnest in the industry at less than 1/16" in diameter, and the multi-stranded core is protected with a tough outer sheath to resist abrasion and corrosion. All Speedheat® products have undergone rigorous testing, including complete submersion in water while energized. All systems feature a full-surround ground screen that is an effective EMR, EMI and RFI shield, and GFCI protection provides absolute electrical safety. Speedheat's products are all UL-listed and National Electric Code (NEC) compliant.

Speedheat® Makes it Easy to be Green:

Speedheat® is easy to install at any time, in any room and under virtually any floor covering (carpet, stone, floating wood, laminates, vinyl and more). Speedheat® is the ideal choice for new construction as well as kitchen renovations, bathroom remodeling, sunroom additions and basement finishing projects. Other G4™ products include TileWarm™ woodBEwarmer™ and CarpetMate™.

Speedheat® also offers a unique "zone heating" option called RugBuddy™ -- the only UL-listed heating mat in the world, approved for use under area rugs. RugBuddy™ is a portable heating blanket that plugs into a standard electrical outlet. It is an ideal solution when installing fixed radiant floor heating is not an option. Like an electric blanket for the floor, RugBuddy™ instantly turns area rugs into invisible space heaters and is an ideal floor warming solution for cold spots in any room of the home or office.

ByOwnerMLS.com Increases its 'For Sale By Owner' Listings by Partnering With Postlets

ByOwnerMLS.com, the only real estate search engine listing national "for sale by owner" properties, announces the addition of Postlets inventory to its ever expanding database.

Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) February 22, 2007 -- ByOwnerMLS.com, the only real estate search engine bringing together the nation's "for sale by owner" (FSBO) listings into one database, announced today that the company has added Postlets' (www.postlets.com) inventory. All of Postlets' FSBO properties will now be automatically included in ByOwnerMLS.com's new Multiple Listing Service.

"Creating an easy search service for the "for-sale-by-owner" customer is one of our main goals" said Dominic Muttillo, chief operating officer for ByOwnerMLS.com. "With the ever increasing number of websites adding inventory it becomes difficult for users to find every FSBO property in an area. We bring the FSBO properties into one public searchable query while providing our partner's sellers with additional exposure."

"Syndicating our for-sale-by-owner listings to ByOwnerMLS.com further helps us deliver on our 'build once, post many' promise," said Asher Matsuda, co-founder of Postlets. "Many homeowners are using our Internet classifieds to reach a larger market when they are selling their homes. ByOwnerMLS is the perfect partner for us in these cases as it is the first of its kind to truly serve the needs of the growing FSBO market."

ByOwnerMLS is the leader in connecting the unfamiliar FSBO segment to the rest of the real estate market. Prior to ByOwnerMLS there were few services that could track the percentage of total property sales that were marketed in the FSBO segment, which some believe to be as much as 30%. With the addition of Postlets' inventory, ByOwnerMLS continues in the direction of accounting the FSBO inventory as a considerable portion of the real estate market.

Rolawn Topsoil Delivered by Barge Over the Thames

Rolawn, Europe's largest turf grower and leading topsoil supplier, recently undertook one of their more unusual and challenging customer requests by delivering their Blended Loam topsoil to Thames Ditton Island.

London, UK (PRWEB) February 22, 2007 -- Rolawn, Europe's largest turf grower and leading supplier recently undertook one of their more unusual and challenging customer requests by delivering their Blended Loam topsoil to Thames Ditton Island.

Due to a complete lack of road traffic and the only access being by a pedestrian suspension footbridge on the 350 yard island, a barge was used to deliver the tote bags across the Thames to the island, near Hampton Court.

The barge sailed across the Thames from the north bank, moored alongside the customers property and then lifted each bag by crane directly into the garden.

Philip Cuthbert, Rolawn's Commercial Director commented "this demonstrates Rolawn's commitment to customer service and our philosophy that where there's a will there's a way."

Rolawn is Europe's larger producer of cultivated Turf and is also recognised as Britain's leading supplier of high quality topsoil. Located in the Vale of York, Rolawn is an independent business whose reputation has been established for over 30 years. Rolawn also provide bark and lawn seed as well as lawn food and fertiliser.

Aging Buildings in Eastern Europe Tap Solutions from Industrial Nanotech

Industrial Nanotech, Inc., an emerging global leader in nanotechnology, announced today that its distributor, MARMO d.o.o., has been awarded a contract to supply Nansulate®, Industrial Nanotech's proprietary protective coating, for the renovation of a military complex in Slovenia. The contract is expected to generate substantial revenue for the company, although the exact value of this contact is still being determined.

Naples, FL (PRWEB) February 22, 2007 -- Industrial Nanotech, Inc., (INTK.PK - News), an emerging global leader in nanotechnology, announced today that its distributor, MARMO d.o.o., has been awarded a contract to supply Nansulate®, Industrial Nanotech's proprietary protective coating, for the renovation of a military complex in Slovenia. The contract is expected to generate substantial revenue for the company, although the exact value of this contact is still being determined.

MARMO will apply Nansulate® to the exterior of the military building, which is about 20km (approximately 12 miles) outside the capital of Ljubljana, to provide thermal insulation and resistance to moisture and mold. The extensive renovation is expected to begin early spring 2007.

Igor Frelih, chief architect for the military renovation project, chose the Nansulate® coating following a demonstration of the product in Slovenia. "Nansulate's unique translucent appearance makes it a good solution for restoration projects, since it can be applied to building exteriors or interiors without changing the look, while allowing an invisible layer of thermal, moisture and mold protection to be applied to the building," said Francesca Crolley, Vice President of Operations and Marketing for Industrial Nanotech.

This renovation project could mark the first of a series of similar projects throughout Eastern Europe. "Our activities at the moment focus on introducing the Nansulate products to architects, such as Mr. Frelih," explained Olivijo Ostakovic, Manager of MARMO. "We have seen increased interest from them in using Nansulate as a protective coating for buildings. As a result, we are starting the process to obtain the CE mark for Nansulate, which could offer additional marketing opportunities throughout Eastern Europe, as we have already received inquiries about the product from Romania, Croatia and Serbia."

With a GDP per capita substantially greater than the other transitioning economies of Central Europe, Slovenia is a model of economic success and stability for its neighbors in the former Yugoslavia. Slovenia acceded to both NATO and the EU in the spring of 2004, and controls some of Europe's major transit routes.

"There are a number of aging buildings in Eastern Europe for which insulation and moisture protection is sought, but with a need to keep the beauty of these historical structures intact," added Crolley.

Replacement windows and doors, if installed correctly, can help homeowners to save on energy costs and fight the deterioration of their homes, reports LocalPlusNetwork.com. In addition to articles advising homeowners of money- and energy-saving advice, LocalPlusNetwork.com offers a directory of local contractors.

(PRWEB) February 22, 2007 -- Homeowners can fight back against the potentially damaging effects of weather by replacing damaged or ill-fitting doors and windows, reports LocalPlusNetwork.com, the home of contractor search tools. Poorly installed replacement windows and doors can result in high energy costs and long-term home damage, according to LocalPlusNetwork.com's featured article, "Saving Energy with Window and Door Improvements" (http://www.localplusnetwork.com/Doors/article/door3.jsp).

The article advises homeowners to look for leaky windows and doors that allow moisture and mold into the home while allowing heat or cooling to escape. Seals and caulking materials warp or become brittle, writes LocalPlusNetwork.com columnist Gabby Hyman. If homeowners find air leaks or increased noise pollution, "Bringing in an expert for a free estimate won't hurt at this juncture," Hyman writes. "Y
