Modular Home Manufacturer Welcomes New HR Director
Customized Structures, Inc. of Claremont, NH welcomes Laurie Methven as new Director of Human Resources.
Claremont, NH (PRWEB) February 15, 2007 -- Customized Structures, Inc., a modular home manufacturer, is pleased to announce the addition of Laurie Methven as Director of Human Resources. Ms. Methven will be responsible for overseeing all employee relations including recruiting, compensation and benefits administration, organizational development, and training.
Ms. Methven has over 20 years of experience in all areas of Human Resources within manufacturing an engineering driven businesses including Boise Cascade, Sanders (Lockheed Martin), and Beede Electrical Instrument.
Most recently Ms. Methven served as Human Resources Director for the NH Veterans Home in Tilton, NH where she helped to lead and facilitate a 1, 3, and 5 year strategic plan. She also helped oversee the growth of the facility as it increased its capabilities. Prior to her tenure at the NH Veterans Home, Ms. Methven was the Human Resources Manager for Nortrax, Inc. a heavy equipment dealership throughout the US. At Nortrax, Inc. she helped to establish HR systems through acquisitions and major growth initiatives.
Ms. Methven said of the new position, "I'm excited to become a part of the leadership team at Customized Structures. Human Resources will work to see that performance management is aligned with company goals and that we meet the needs of our employees and customers to deliver results."

Ms. Methven holds a Bachelors Degree in Human Services from Franconia College and a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management from Rivier College.
In her free time, Ms. Methven is a volunteer EMT with the Bradford Rescue Squad, Chair of Community Relations projects for her local HR Association, and cares for foster animals.
