Perry Properties Makes Big Splash with Hidden Lakes Development in Houston Suburb

HOUSTON (BusinessWire EON) July 9, 2007 -- Will Perry of Perry Properties, based in Sugar Land, Texas, announced the purchase of 640 acres to be developed as Hidden Lakes in League City, Texas. Perry, the son of Bob Perry of Perry Homes, is developing a resort-like residential community to include Perry Homes as one of its builders.

Located near the highly successful South Shore Harbour Development, Hidden Lakes will have various amenities that include hiking and biking trails, a large recreation center, and lakes for boating and fishing with small pleasure crafts.

Perry states, “Perry Homes has been very successful for 25 years in League City. I took my father’s advice, and realized a need for a new development near South Shore Harbour. Land is limited in this area, and South Shore Harbour will be built-out in less than a year. Growing up in this area, I understand that home buyers want to be near the water. Hidden Lakes has several lakes that are spring-fed, and the water is crystal-clear. An up-scale development with extensive amenities and established builders is what Hidden Lakes can provide for our home buyers.”

Builders will include J. Patrick Homes, Perry Homes, and Imperial Homes. Custom home builders are to be determined. Home prices will be from $225,000 to $1 million +. Development will begin fall of 2007.

Reggie Jacob and David Randolph of Perry Properties brokered the purchase from local developer Sam Boyd for an undisclosed price.

Financing was arranged by Allstate Lending of Sugar Land, Texas.
