WHAT:
To help consumers learn more about how to enrich their digital entertainment experiences, AMD has launched the AMD LIVE!(TM) Virtual House - a Web site and contest that educates people about creating digital homes using the AMD LIVE! solution and the latest AMD-powered devices. Visitors can simply register at www.winwithamd.com to participate in a variety of activities, including an instant-win game, trivia contests and a raffle for a chance to win the latest in PC and consumer electronics (CE) technology.


Through the AMD LIVE! solution, people can easily stream, record, transfer, share and organize their personal photos, videos, music and media on the digital devices they already have -- set-top boxes, game consoles, MP3 players and mobile phones -- with incredible speed, magnificent sound and rich graphics.


To participate in the AMD LIVE! Virtual House online contest, participants must first register on the Web site to receive two game tokens, which can be used to play an instant-win game. The objective of the game is to hit three moving targets and try to reveal three of the same prizes. If all three of the same prizes are revealed, the participant wins that prize.


Web visitors can earn additional tokens by exploring the AMD LIVE! Virtual House and clicking on "hotspots" within a room, where they can find information about technologies featured in the house. After participants have clicked on all of the hotspots, they will be asked to answer trivia questions about the technologies to receive ten extra tokens. The tokens can then be used to play the instant-win game again for another chance to win.


At the end of the 45-day period, AMD will raffle off all the products in a featured room of the Virtual House. Some of the prizes will include:

The first contest begins July 20, 2007 and ends September 6, 2007. A new, featured room in the Virtual House will launch shortly afterward with additional contest and prize opportunities.
