New Service Increases and Expedites Road Home Grant Awards for Hurricane Katrina Victims

The Road Home Express (RHE), a private Louisiana firm, provides The Road Home program applicants with a service to increase and expedite individual disaster recovery grants.

New Orleans, LA (PRWEB) September 10, 2007 -- Road Home Express (RHE), www.roadhomeexpress.com, announces the launch of a unique service that helps victims of Hurricane Katrina expedite and even increase grants from Gov. Kathleen Blanco’s The Road Home assistance program.

Louisiana residents at any stage of the Road Home assistance process may contact RHE via telephone or online to take a free “Award Analysis,” enabling RHE Private File Managers to pinpoint an applicant’s current position in The Road Home program. The Private File Manager then reviews the analysis and personally guides the applicant through the necessary steps to remove any road blocks, shortening the time it takes to reach an initial award.

“We have heard from many applicants that feel powerless over the outcome of their award and all they can do is wait it out and hope for the best,” says Tony Alaniz, General Manager of Road Home Express. “Our team has learned the steps that an applicant can take to not only receive an initial award faster but also identify and correct errors through the appeals process to improve the final outcome of their recovery.”

Alaniz adds that additional RHE tools help the Private File Mangers navigate through the policies and procedures of The Road Home program, as well as identify costly errors and missed opportunities. These tools offered by RHE ultimately help increase final awards through appeals.

About the Road Home Express, LLC.
The Road Home Express was formed in early 2007 by a group of disaster recovery experts who have been property owner advocates for more than 30 years. At no charge, the company conducts a computer-based analysis to provide applicants with the possibilities of receiving increased Road Home awards in a reduced amount of time. After the consultation applicants agree to a small fee that is not due until they receive an initial award. RHE has established relationships with other professionals willing to assist applicants with the various services that may be required to secure a correct award amount through the appeals process. The charges for these services are handled on a very reasonable flat rate basis and not due until the applicant receives award proceeds. RHE is available online at www.roadhomeexpress.com and has physical offices in New Orleans and other major cities to facilitate evacuees nationwide and help bring them home.
