Results of FMI/CMAA Survey of Owners to be Presented at e-Builder User Conference
Results of the FMI/CMAA Annual Survey of Owners to focus on use of technologies like Building Information Modeling (BIM) to overcome challenges on the planning, design, and delivery of their projects.
Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) September 10, 2007 -- e-Builder, the leading provider of collaborative project management solutions, today announced that Mark Bridgers, senior consultant with FMI Corporation, will deliver the FMI/CMAA Eighth Annual Survey of Owners at e-Builder's Annual User and Technology Conference, November 9, 2007. This year's survey focuses on information technology and its impact on construction projects, particularly the ways technology can be used to improve project collaboration -- which owners have signaled they urgently desire.
This year's FMI/CMAA Annual Survey of Owners is a compilation of information and opinions from more than 200 owners in both the private and public sectors. The goal of the research is to articulate the trends and best practices with regard to both proven and innovative technologies (e.g., Building Information Modeling [BIM).
Mr. Bridgers, who has more than 16 years of construction industry expertise including financial engineering, surety bonding, and reinsurance experience, is recognized in the industry as an expert on organizational analysis, construction cost management, accounting and financial issues, and strategy development. The presentation will take place at The Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
