InventHelp Client Invents Electrician's Cable Tool
An InventHelp Client from Dover, Del., has developed a tool to reduce the time and effort involved in wiring houses.
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) April 14, 2008 -- InventHelp announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Dover, Del., has developed a tool to reduce the time and effort involved in wiring houses.
The Hartley Wire Xpress is designed to make it faster and easier for electricians to install non-metallic, sheathed electrical cable in residential construction. It would be especially useful for electricians working by themselves. This tool could be used with cables of various gauges, and also could be produced in a commercial version for use with metal-clad cable. It would help to boost electrical construction productivity in the home building industry.
As a journeyman electrician, the inventor based the design of the Hartley Wire Xpress on his understanding of industry needs. "I wanted to come up with a way to make the task of installing non-metallic sheathed cable in residences much quicker and less labor-intensive," he said. "I knew that such a tool could help a residential electrician to compete in a very competitive market."
The original design was submitted to the Baltimore office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
