Lending Firm Set to Begin Development Projects in Baja California

LendingGateway.com has a master plan of action to begin further development around the remote beach community of San Felipe on the Sea of Cortez.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) April 18, 2008 -- LendingGateway.com announced at a developer lunch yesterday the company's plans to spearhead development of resorts, condos, infrastructure, and community projects and housing in and around the beautiful San Felipe beach community. Earlier this month, several executives representing LendingGateway.com and investors visited the area to inspect some of the company's client properties and found the region untapped and miles of beachfront property in need of investment and development.

Alex Capio, CEO of Lending Gateway, and Ian Boshoff, CFO of Lending Gateway, attended meetings with local land owners, developers, and local and regional government officials of the San Felipe area. The general consensus of the meetings is the region needs more marketing to attract more North American retirees, more infrastructure, and more affordable housing for the growing local population.

"Currently, over 10,000 North Americans have purchased condos or houses in the San Felipe area," said Alex Capio at the developer lunch, "The area has outstanding weather and a peaceful atmosphere. With all the untapped potential, we will bring our partners and invite additional investors to lead development in the region."

The Lending Gateway team has planed additional trips to the area to work with the local government to secure humanitarian project funding to assist not only in hotel and resort construction, but also to create jobs and aid the local economy.

"We are seeking to fund humanitarian projects in San Felipe" explains Ian Boshoff, "We require a 15MM investment to lock in our funding of 130MM. The investor's funds will remain in the investor's account, never moved, and will remain blocked until the project is completed. There is a need for low-income housing, schools, and hospitals in this area."

San Felipe is 125 miles south of the International border between Calexico, California and Mexicali, Baja California, the primary route to San Felipe is via Mexico's Federal Highway 5. A secondary route exists via Tijuana following Highway 1 south to Ensenada, Highway 3 east to Highway 5 and south from there to San Felipe.
