Lockheed Martin-India's HAL Agreement at the Bangalore Airshow 2005
Under the technical agreement Lockheed Martin would allow HAL to provide detailed technical and commercial proposals for participation in the airframe modernization program.
(PRWEB) March 8, 2005 -- In fact the first agreement at the Aero India show was also signed between America’s Lockheed Martin and India’s Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) relating to technical assistance for the P -3 Orion maritime surveillance aircraft program. Under the technical agreement Lockheed Martin would allow HAL to provide detailed technical and commercial proposals for participation in the airframe modernization program.
Lockheed Martin also showcased its MH-60 multi mission helicopter which it has also offerered to the Indian defense ministry, confirmed an executive of Lockheed Martin. Northrop Grumman of United States showcased its, airborne early-warning and battle-management command-and-control system, E2C Hawkeye which it is offering to the Indian Navy
