Nutritional Supplement Made from Glyconutrients Shown to Restore and Improve Cellular Health

Mannatech, a glyconutritional company in Texas, has patented the healthiest nutritional supplement on the market, Ambrotose AO. This nutritional supplement is created from a combination of eight essential glyconutrients, which aid in cellular communication to help prevent disease, and are easily digested into the body because the body recognizes them as food.

(PRWEB) March 31, 2005 -- Mannatech, a glyconutritional research and development company in Dallas, has patented a combination of eight essential glyconutrients that people need to maintain their health. This combination of glyconutrients has been developed into the most natural and healthy nutritional supplement on the market.

“The science behind our products has proven that health begins at the cellular level, a fact that’s rapidly gaining universal acknowledgment,” said Bert Klein, Independent Associate Executive Director. “Many people already take nutritional supplements to improve their health, but that’s not enough. The nutritional supplement industry is faced with many difficult challenges to overcome. First, the public has difficulty getting the right combination of vitamins and minerals in their nutritional supplements because they can’t tell exactly what their bodies need and it can be dangerous to use the wrong formula. Second, because the nutritional supplement is not created out of a food the body recognizes, it doesn’t dissolve easily or not at all and the active ingredient is lost. What this means is the nutritional supplement is practically useless and becomes expensive urine.”

Mannatech has created a nutritional supplement that meets both of these challenges. Research has shown that there are certain carbohydrates (sugars) that are necessary in our diets for cellular communication. (Don’t confuse them with table sugar; these are special monosaccharides). When all eight sugars, or their precursors, are provided to the body in a nutritional supplement, then the body has what it needs to communicate properly and heal and defend itself against disease.

“Health problems today are tied to the one trillion-dollar food industry,” said Klein. “Our bodies are not designed to ingest and assimilate foods that have been irradiated and devitalized. Add to that green harvest, toxins, and the fact that the meat we eat today is primarily from animals that were raised in a feedlot or in a cage, the commercial food industry is causing us to miss these very essential sugars in our diet. It’s been proven that our modern diets only contain two of the eight sugars that are necessary for this cellular communication.”

Because people only get two of the eight essential glyconutrients in their food, the Mannatech nutritional supplement Ambrotose AO, which contains all eight, will always provide what the consumer’s body needs. The glyconutrients are naturally occurring sugars, like those in food, so the body recognizes them and digests them much more effectively that other nutritional supplements.

Science Magazine, one of the most widely read science publications, devoted the majority of their March 2001 issue to the subject of Carbohydrates and Glycobiology. One article was entitled, “Saving Lives with Sugar”. Dr. Emil Mondoa, a medical doctor, recently published the book “Sugars That Heal”. He says that “even tiny amounts of these sugars, or lack of them…have profound effects.” It should also be noted that four of the last eight Nobel Prizes for Physiology and Medicine were awarded to scientists in the field of cellular communication.
