Advanced Polymer Alloys Appoints TPE Solutions, Inc. as New Distributor
Companies agree to co-develop new elastomer materials.
WILMINGTON, Del., (PRWEB) August 31, 2005 -- Advanced Polymer Alloys (APA), a division of Ferro Corporation (NYSE: FOE) and the world’s leading supplier of Melt-Processible Elastomers™ (MPEs), today announced that TPE Solutions, a Shirley, Mass.-based distributor of thermoplastic elastomers, has joined the APA worldwide distribution network. APA also announced that the two companies agreed to partner together to develop new elastomer materials.
TPE Solutions, founded by Jonas Angus, will distribute APA’s entire product line, including Alcryn® Melt-Processible Rubber™ (MPR), DuraGrip® TPE, and DuraMax. As part of the relationship, the two companies will also collaborate on new product development projects, further expanding APA’s market influence.
