Teck Cominco Portion of the Chester Base Metal Property Now Consists of 289 Claims

First Narrows Resources Corp. (TSX-V: UNO and OTC US: FNRWF) is pleased to report that Teck Cominco Limited (“Teck Cominco”) has accepted an additional 88 claims staked by First Narrows (1,408ha) for inclusion in the Chester Property Agreement (the “Teck Cominco Option”). The Teck Cominco Option now consists of 289 claims and includes claims covering extensions of the known Chester copper, lead, zinc, and secondary metals (Ag, Bi, Co, In) mineral deposits, and a cluster of newly discovered MegaTEm/VTEM airborne geophysical anomalies that may represent additional volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) and feeder mineralization.

(TSX-V: UNO and OTC US: FNRWF) (”First Narrows” or the “Company”) is pleased to report that Teck Cominco Limited (“Teck Cominco”) has accepted an additional 88 claims staked by First Narrows (1,408ha) for inclusion in the Chester Property Agreement (the “Teck Cominco Option”). The Teck Cominco Option now consists of 289 claims with the new claims adjoining the south, west and north boundaries of the Teck Cominco portion of the Chester property.

First Narrows entered into the Teck Cominco Option in March 2003 and has the right to earn a 100% interest in the 289 claims subject to a royalty and certain back-in rights held by Teck Cominco.

The Teck Cominco Option includes claims covering extensions of the known Chester copper, lead, zinc, and secondary metals (Ag, Bi, Co, In) mineral deposits, and a cluster of newly discovered MegaTEM/VTEM airborne geophysical anomalies that may represent additional volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) and feeder mineralization.

The Chester property is located in the Bathurst Mining Camp, 53 km west of Miramichi, NB. Mr. Arthur Hamilton, P.Geo., is the Company’s Qualified Person on the Chester Project. Mr. Hamilton was formerly Chief Mine Geologist for Noranda’s Heath Steele Division.
