High Security Concerns at Hydro Quebec Installations
Video report revealing that that the installations of Hydro-Quebec on the Manicouagan river and to the James bay are very badly protected and basically gives a welcome message to terrorists to these installations. No cameras, no warning system have been found the site.
(PRWEB) February 21, 2005 -- I am writing to you today as a concerned Canadian citizen. As you know, since yesterday there has been a serious big concern in Canada for Canadians and also Americans that use the installations of electricity from Quebec are a big security reasons.
A journalist from Radio-Canada did a video report revealing that that the installations of Hydro-Quebec on the Manicouagan river and to the James bay are very badly protected and basically gives a welcome message to terrorists to these installations. No cameras, no warning system have been found the site.
The journalist Christian Latreille and the cameraman Bernard Huard succeeded in penetrating, without being worried, in the heart of the power stations of Manic-5 and LG-2, which feed in electricity 1,5 million Inhabitant of Quebec.
The report shows that the gates of the power stations are not locked, that it is no agent of security there, that there are neither cameras of monitoring nor warning systems. In the video report we can even see the journalist Christian Latreille and the cameraman Bernard Huard approaching to the control panels without meeting, seeing or being interrupted by anybody.

Finally, I am really concerned about this serious problem and I am asking everyone in this letter to intervene in the best way they can because of serious National Security concerns and take all necessary serious steps to not give a chance to possible terrorists to have access to the Hydro-Quebec installations.
