Warm Air Hand Driers for Washrooms Changing Colours

Airdri, one of the world's leading manufacturers of warm air hand dryers, has reported a significant trend towards stainless steel cased driers in chromed or brushed finish.

(PRWEB) April 27, 2005 -- Airdri, one of the world's leading manufacturers of warm air hand driers, has reported a significant trend towards stainless steel cased driers in chromed or brushed finish.

John Curzon, Airdri’s General Manager, said, “During the nineties we saw the trend for many differing coloured finishes to suit the individual washroom decor, and logo branded products were in demand, too. Now, we’re seeing demand grow significantly for stainless steel driers with brushed or chromed finish which gives a hygienic look to the washroom. In fact, we’re seeing sales grow by more than 25 percent across the range as businesses realise the benefits of utilising warm air driers.”

Manufactured in the UK, there is a choice of models that dry the hands or face as fast as 20 seconds. All Airdri’s products are designed to last, and the extremely robust heavy duty casing on the popular “Classic” range is vandal resistant.

A fully automatic version with an infra-red sensor system offers the ultimate in hygiene and eliminates the risks of cross infection completely. By detecting the presence of hands under the air outlet, the sensor automatically switches the drier on. The drier switches itself off automatically a few seconds after hands are removed. As an alternative, manual versions incorporating the latest technology touch controls are also available.

The range has been designed using proven motor, fan and heater assemblies in a stylish and exceptionally durable die-cast aluminium housing or superior vitreous enamelled cast iron cover. The result is a drier that offers exceptional quality and value, requiring the minimum of maintenance.

Airdri's Classic was used in a Life Cycle Analysis study by independent research organisation, Environmental Resources Management, which concluded that the use of hand driers results in a smaller environmental footprint than the use of paper towels.
