New Optically Clear Adhesive/Sealant Has High Flexibility

EP37-3FLF is a two component optically clear epoxy system with high flexibility. Master Bond EP37-3FLF can be employed as a potting and encapsulation compound .It possesses superior electrical insulation properties and an exceptionally long working life.

(PRWEB) September 17, 2005 -- Master Bond Inc., Hackensack, NJ has introduced a new low viscosity adhesive/sealant with high flexibility called EP37-3FLF. This two component optically clear epoxy system features a forgiving one to one mix ratio by weight or volume. It cures at room temperatures. EP37-3FLF bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, glass, ceramics, rubber and many plastics. Bonds offer resistance to impact, shock and severe thermal cycling.

Master Bond EP37-3FLF also can be employed as a potting and encapsulation compound. Its low exotherm makes it an ideal material for large castings. It also possesses superior electrical insulation properties and an exceptionally long working life.

EP37-3FLF has a service operating temperature range of -80°F to +250°F. Its volume resistivity is 1x 1014 ohm-cm at 75°F. It has a Shore D hardness of 30 and a tensile strength of 4,000 psi at 75°F. Peak exotherm for 200 gm mass is 40°C.
