New Products of Media Systems
(PRWEB) February 26, 2005 -- Media Systems Ltd. would like to inform you about releasing of two new members of the Securer Family project as well as upgrading of existing Personal Securer device.
1) Personal Securer 1.10 - a GSM/GPS device, but also a tri-band mobile phone with restricted functions especially designed for achieving a maximum level of personal and asset safety.
2) Home Securer 1.00 - a GSM based device for home security and home systems management.
3) Car Securer 1.00 - a security device for vehicle protection based on Falcom GSM/GPRS/GPS module F35-XXL-SI.
1) Upgrades of Personal Securer 1.10 include:
- a developed GPS power management feature;
- a new Li-Ion battery with extended life of stand by of up to 24 h and Stand by in a mode send SMS of every 20 min up to 20h;
- Implementing of the ability for partial selection of the power management operating mode of the Personal Securer 1.10 from the user;
- emergency voice call enabled without SIM card from the Panic button;
- battery charge electricity management;
- weight of only 85 g.
The Personal Securer applications include safeguard for children, women and seniors, emergency device for security personnel and adults, people working in risky environment, Automatic Vehicle Location, Logistics, etc.
2) Home Securer 1.00 combines a tri-band GSM module and a microcontroller with embedded eCos based firmware and easily adaptable application, which implements the logic control of 8 programmable Inputs and 6 programmableOutputs. Home Securer 1.00 allows configuration and event notification via SMS, Data connection and GPRS. The Home Securer 1.00 can be configured from a PC via the integrated native Mini USB interface, using original on-screen configuration software. Accidental access is prevented by unique device password, PIN and name protection.
Home Securer 1.00 is equipped with an integrated NV-RAM for saving of events and Li-Ion battery 3 V for RTC backup. Additional option is incoming Voice call dialer number identification and command execution in response. Despite its name, Home Securer 1.00 is designated also for industrial and business sites and offices, which require remote control and management.
The Home Securer 1.00 Starter Kit enables Service providers and System integrators to create and upload original applications, developed for custom purposes, with the help of the included API and documentation. The Starter Kit is essential and compulsory for starting of any new project.
3) Car Securer 1.00 equipped with Falcom F35-XXL-SI GSM/GPRS/GPS embedded smart module is designed as a platform for developing and execution of application written on eCOS base. This gives opportunity for creating a wide spectrum of AVL, fleet management, security, telemetry, remote control, remote monitoring and vending products. Car Securer 1.00 could be supplied with electricity from two sources – a battery of the vehicle and a reserve battery with voltage of up to 32 V
In case of a failure in the basic supply, Car Securer 1.00 continues its normal operation, even electrically separated from the vehicle. A supplementary battery stores the RAM and RTC contents of the module on fault in the electricity supply. A possibility for two-way GSM voice connection is ensured, which has to link the driver with the control center. Car Securer 1.00 is equipped with four RS232 serial ports, 8 programmable Inputs and 8 digital outputs as well as with MMC card holder push-push type that gives the ability of storing millions of events.
