HiTech Global Distribution, the global distributor of HiTech products, has signed an agreement to distribute and market Quest Innovations products and engineering services in North America.

San Jose, CA; Wieringerwerf, The Netherlands (PRWEB) March 7, 2005 -- Expert teams of marketers and engineers, customer base, and industry leadership have enabled Hitech Global Distribution to effectively promote its partners’ products and services around the world. With premier services that HiTech Global offers, designers can easily, quickly, and effectively select, purchase, and receive their desired products. HiTech Global also offers engineering support and design services to complement its partners’ product portfolios.

“Over the last couple of years the IP division of Quest Innovations B.V. has focused on designing reusable IP for storage and multimedia markets. Ongoing miniaturization and low power requirements for both mobile and embedded systems are becoming an important factor. By releasing our IDE/ATA /CompactFlash and VGA Cores we are targeting the embedded and mobile device market with a different angle. These IP Cores and devices are only the first in a complete IP/Chip line for mobile and embedded devices. Building more and more intelligence in the peripherals is the future.” said Richard Meester, President/CEO of Quest Innovations B.V. “With releasing these IP cores, along with development systems for FPGAs and the opportunity to buy these IP cores in silicon from us, give customers the opportunity to increase their time to market for their new products, while still maintaining low power and flexibility for their designs. With the appointment of Hitech global as our partner we are creating a strong position in the US market for new designs and opportunities. Customers can ever request design services for modified IP blocks or custom IP blocks through this channel.”

“Our partnership with Quest Innovations expands the range of high quality products and services that we have been offering to our customers.”- Said Samantha Alimardani Hitech Global Vice President of Business Development. “ with this agreement we have now accomplished adding new set of high quality and silicon proven IP Cores to our portfolio”- she continued.

About Quest Innovations
Quest Innovations B.V. is a privately held high tech company specializing in developing turnkey reusable IP. Our expertise in IP design, engineering services and embedded systems makes us an ideal partner for our customers to develop custom specific products on a turnkey basis.

Started in 1998, Quest Innovations has done several high tech IP modules and turnkey projects for our customers. With IP blocks ranging from 16/32-Bit Risc processors cores, SVGA Controllers with 2D/3D Acceleration, Memory controllers and interface IP Cores like MOST MLB, IDE, Serial Uart, Quest Innovations B.V. is capable of supplying a substantial range of IP blocks to customer projects. Because of the high number of different IP blocks used in one design, engineers are looking for ready to use blocks, which are reusable, verified in silicon and possibly already used in production units. Therefore Quest has developed its Quest Quality Program. Customers can look at the status and quality of the IP they are interested in.
