The C5300 Series is available in 5 DC input ranges from: 80-800V DC as well as 3Æ AC input ranges from160-530V, plus units can be supplied with an external PFC module offering additional input ranges. Single outputs are available in 8 ranges from 24 – 400V DC. All outputs are adjustable and fully regulated to 0.2% or better (load) and 0.1% (line).

All variations in the C5300 series have remote sensing, over-voltage protection and current limiting on the output. Efficiencies run up to 95% depending on model and load. Operating temperature is -20 °C to +75 °C with optional operation down to -40 °C.

The units are packaged in a 7”(h) x 19”(w) x 24”(d) module for low-profile space savings and incorporate standard studs for input and output connections. Front to back cooling allows for stacking directly on top of each other for parallel operation in high power applications. Supply can be configured to operate in other orientations (such as floor mounting with a 19” height) if specified when ordering. Options include decoupling diodes for parallel operation, “ruggedization”, inhibit, Power fail/DC-ok with relays, system reset and active current sharing. Check with the factory for a list of other available options.

Some common applications include locomotive controls, communications and charging equipment, military vehicles, telecommunication systems, process control systems, and power stations for direct load sourcing in addition to battery charging.
