New Equestrian Security Product Features Radio Frequency Identification Tags for Saddle and Tack Registry and Tracking System
TackTrac, an affordable new equestrian security product, allows users to permanently mark their equipment with a small radio frequency identification (RFID) tag. The device can be inserted into various tack equipment and provides an identification number that can be registered in an online database. TackTrac enables users to easily identify and track equipment if lost or stolen.
West Henrietta, NY (PRWEB via PR Web Direct) April 29, 2005 -- TackTrac, an affordable new equestrian security product that features a saddle and tack registry and tracking system, was introduced at Equine Affaire in Columbus, Ohio on April 7 by TackTrac Inc. TackTrac allows users to tag a saddle or tack with a microchip so it can be identified and recovered if lost or stolen. TackTrac is the only company in the United States to offer a national tracking and recovery database for the equine tack equipment industry.
TackTrac is a self-installed product that includes both a state-of-the-art radio frequency identification (RFID) microchip kit and a Global Online Registry and Recovery Database to add a new layer of theft deterrence and assist in the recovery of lost or stolen tack items. Installation and registration is easy; when properly inserted into a saddle, tack or tack box, the microchip can provide the key information necessary to instantly identify the item and enable it to be returned if lost or stolen.
RFID tags are small microchips that work by sending out a small, encoded radio signal when in the proximity of RFID reader equipment. The RFID readers supply a small amount of electromagnetic power, which allows the tag to transmit a faint radio signal. The tag's signal contains the unique identification number encoded onto the chip during the manufacturing process. The reader device can then display this number to the user.
TackTrac uses an AVID Eurochip® which is compatible with AVID® and Destron® multiple reader microchip scanners. Thousands of existing microchip multiple scanners throughout the United States can be used to scan the saddle, tack or tack box to positively identify the owner. This microchip contains a unique identification code, requires no power source and lasts for decades. TackTrac uses 125K frequency microchips and scanners, which are the most compatible with the pet, equine and livestock microchip tracking industry.
The microchip is difficult to remove once installed. An attempt to remove the microchip would be obvious and would potentially indicate that the item was stolen. This may act as a deterrent to theft or signal that an item should not be purchased, as it may be stolen.
After a microchip is installed in a saddle or tack item, the owner can register the microchip ID in the online registry database (available at www.tacktrac.com). Also in the database is an area to include a detailed description of the item and an optional uploaded image.
The initial tagging kit is available online for $39.95. TackTrac offers reseller/installer programs to qualified tack shops, saddle fitters, farriers and stables. For more information, visit www.tacktrac.com.

Instantly Convert from Serial Data Communications to Bluetooth Wireless
Anyone with serial port communications can now convert to Bluetooth wireless communications just by plugging in a Parani10 adapter. Not only that, they can create a whole network using a Parani100 Bluetooth Gateway without having to alter their equipment in any way.
(PRWEB) April 28, 2005 -- There are lots of products and equipment in service using serial communications especially RS232. Without expensive redesign, how can it be updated to use wireless technology? The answer is a new serial port to Bluetooth adapter called Parani10. This adapter is very flexible and can be set up to operate in different ways using simple PC software or through Hyperterm or similar terminal programs.
The easiest operation is to lock two Parani10 adapters together in the software to give point to point communication between the two adapters. This provides a virtual serial cable up to 200 meters long! So, with very little effort, existing RS232 cables can be replaced by a wireless link. The Parani10 adapter can also act as a Bluetooth interface for a PC via the serial port, so the PC can communicate with mobile phones and other Bluetooth devices.
If a connection needs to be made between more devices or an interface is required to a standard network, there is a partner product called Parani100 that is a Bluetooth Gateway. Again, this is setup using simple Windows software or via the Web, Telnet or a Serial Terminal program. Advanced users can even control it from their own programs using standard AT Modem commands. The Parani100 can easily be set to operate in different modes for maximum flexibility.
It can be configured to be a simple router to allow up to 7 Bluetooth nodes, such as the Parani10 Serial to Bluetooth adapters, to communicate with each other. Alternatively, it can be used to connect the Bluetooth adapters to an Ethernet network either as a Client or a Server. Because Tactical’s COM Port Redirector software is included in the package, up to 7 Parani10 Bluetooth to Serial adapters can be addressed as if they were standard COM ports. This means that the users control program code only needs minor modification to operate wirelessly. The Parani100 can also act as a repeater to extend the range of the network, and distances of 1.2Km can be obtained when it is used with optional patch antennas.
Both the Parani10 RS232 to Bluetooth adapter and the Parani100 Bluetooth Gateway are really straightforward, and no knowledge of wireless technology or Bluetooth is needed to use them. They really do provide an instant wireless network to replace serial cables with minimal effort by the engineer.

New Vishay Siliconix 40-V and 60-V MOSFETs for Automotive Applications
New Vishay Siliconix 40-V and 60-V MOSFETs Feature Industry's First Combination of High 3.4-V Threshold Voltage and Low 2.7-Milliohm On-Resistance for High-Temp Automotive Applications
(PRWEB) April 28, 2005 -- Siliconix incorporated (NASDAQ: SILI), an 80.4%-owned subsidiary of Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH), today announced the industry's first n-channel MOSFETs that combine a high 3.4-V threshold voltage with on-resistance as low as 2.7 milliohms.
The 10 new MOSFETs, available in 40-V and 60-V versions, are intended for use in high-temperature, high-current applications with inductive loads in the automotive, industrial, and fixed telecom industries, such as high-side switches, motor drives, and 12-V boardnets.
When MOSFETs operate in high-temperature, high-current environments, they can turn on spontaneously if their threshold voltage, impacted by heat, starts to approach 0 V. Until now, this posed a dilemma for designers. One solution was the addition of a negative voltage driver to the circuit, but the drawbacks were increased circuit size, cost, and complexity. Another solution would be to use a device with a high threshold voltage, but the effect in this case is an undesirable increase in on-resistance.
This new power MOSFET family provides a way out of this dilemma with high-density silicon technology that allows the same device to deliver both low on-resistance and a high threshold voltage that avoids the problem of spontaneous turn-on in automotive, industrial, and other applications involving high temperatures and high levels of current.
Available in the DPAK, D2PAK, and PowerPAK SO-8 packages, samples and production quantities of the new MOSFETs are available now with lead times of 10 to 12 weeks for larger orders. Pricing for U.S. delivery in 100,000-piece quantities starts at $1.35 per piece.
Siliconix is a leading manufacturer of power MOSFETs, power ICs, analog switches, and multiplexers for computers, cell phones, fixed communications networks, automobiles, and other consumer and industrial electronic systems. With 2004 worldwide sales of $466.1 million, the company's facilities include a company-owned Class 1 wafer fab dedicated to the manufacture of power products in Santa Clara, Calif., and a Class 1 wafer fab located in Itzehoe, Germany, utilized under a lease arrangement. The company's products are also fabricated by subcontractors in Japan, Germany, China, Taiwan, and the United States. Assembly and test facilities include a company-owned facility in Taiwan, a joint venture in Shanghai, China, and subcontractors in the Philippines, China, Taiwan, and Israel.
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., a Fortune 1,000 Company listed on the NYSE (VSH), is one of the world's largest manufacturers of discrete semiconductors (diodes, rectifiers, transistors, and optoelectronics) and selected ICs, and passive electronic components (resistors, capacitors, inductors, and transducers). (PRWEB) April 27, 2005 -- GoDogGo® Canine Activity Sport has been chosen by MSN Entertainment as one of the top 10 gadgets for celebrity pooches. The patented design makes this product the only one of its kind for Fido. At number seven on the list of "Toys for Celebs," GoDogGo ($150), is a bucket-sized gadget that launches tennis balls for Fido to fetch. All that the dog's human companion needs to do is select the distance (from 15 to 30 feet) and frequency (from 7- to 15-second intervals), using the handy remote controller. Pet owners can train their dogs to return tossed balls directly to the hopper for continuous play.
GoDogGo Canine Activity Sport was designed and developed by Ron Thompson of Gig Harbor, Wash. Ron is a product designer with an over-active chocolate Labrador by the name of "Hershey". Hershey, like most Labs, cannot get enough of the game of "fetch." Ron acted upon this need to keep his dog busy while he was working in the yard.
Since GoDogGo® was introduced, it has found many admirers from the elderly pet owner to the paraplegic that absolutely needs to keep their pet fit but may not have the physical ability to do so.

Zetera's New Network Storage Technology Paves the Way For Cost-Effective, Protected Storage for Corporate and Consumer Networks
IDC releases whitepaper examining Zetera's position and potential in the storage networking industry.
Irvine, CA (PRWEB via PR Web Direct) April 26, 2005 -- Zetera Corporation, the developer of breakthrough network storage technology, today announced the availability of a new whitepaper authored by IDC titled, "A New Disruptive IP Storage Technology Paves the Way for Advanced, Cost-Effective, and Protected Storage for Corporate and Consumer Networks." The paper examines the potential for Zetera's patent-pending technology to be a disruptive solution within the network storage industry. According to IDC, this potential is due to the technology's ability to match or exceed the capabilities of existing storage standards at a lower cost.
The shifting nature of business needs and the advent of the networked home are changing the ways companies and consumers use storage. For businesses, the widespread use of local networks and advanced applications, the explosion in Internet traffic and large email attachments, and the growing use of multimedia sound and imagery to support Web sites, business applications and regulatory mandates requires bigger and better storage systems. IT managers need storage solutions that meet these new requirements and scale to meet tomorrow's anticipated and unanticipated demands.
On the consumer side, an explosion in the range and type of home networking and personal entertainment devices such as MP3 players, PVRs, and game systems require expanded levels of storage. IDC contends that today, "it is not hard to find households that have almost a terabyte of storage installed across various devices." Consumers concerned with storing and protecting precious memories (family photos and videos) along with other digital possessions need storage solutions that add capacity that is self-configuring and accessible by all systems, allocate capacity for individual applications, and enable more robust data protection.
Zetera has introduced a new storage networking architecture that improves on what IDC considers to be the four fundamental factors that drive the success of a network storage system – cost, scalability, performance and reliability. Zetera network storage uses IP as the storage fabric, delivering network storage without bottlenecks and at the lowest cost. The technology uses IP multicast to achieve sharing, spanning and RAID without specialized hardware while scaling linearly without the need for additional controllers/aggregators.
"Zetera's approach isn't 'storage over IP' as discussed by many companies in the storage industry," explains Dave Reinsel, Program Director of Storage Research for IDC and author of the Zetera whitepaper. "In contrast, rather than using IP as an extension cord between clients and storage devices, Zetera uses IP as the storage paradigm itself."
The whitepaper examines in detail how Zetera's approach to IP storage addresses the four critical storage solution criteria more effectively than many existing network storage solutions. "This positive analysis by such a widely respected authority as IDC validates our mission to change the storage industry," said Chuck Cortright, president and CEO of Zetera.
According to IDC, there are many market opportunities for Zetera's storage technology. For businesses of all sizes, Zetera offers an alternative to costly storage solutions with a low-cost, easy-to-deploy, and easy-to-manage integrated storage system. On the home networking side, Zetera's use of IP, a technology that is already supported and used by most consumer electronic devices, unobtrusively ties these standalone islands of storage together in a way that provides both protection and sharing of data.
"The changing information needs of businesses and the advent of the networked home with its growing need for storage capacity and data protection will dramatically change the ways companies and consumers buy and use storage in the coming years," the whitepaper reports. "Zetera, with its fully IP-based storage solution, is in a strong position to capitalize on these changes and become a disruptive technology in the network storage market."
The whitepaper also points out that Zetera's focused approach to bringing its technology to market increases its chances of success. Zetera is marketing its technology initially within the SMB market where there is little conflict with established high-end storage systems and within consumer market where there is an increasing need for inexpensive, easy-to-deploy protected storage.
"We offer computer and consumer electronics manufacturers an extraordinary opportunity to use Zetera's technology to build products that perform better and cost less," added Cortright. NETGEAR® Inc., StorCase®, and Bell Microproducts have all announced Zetera-based network storage products targeted to the consumer and SMB markets that are slated to ship in the summer of 2005.

(PRWEB) April 24, 2005 -- RFID Tribe launched the RFID Talent and Career Center as a focal point for RFID technology expertise.
RFID Tribe implemented the job board to help job seekers in the RFID community find new employment opportunities. The new job board allows users a place to post their resumes for free. Along with a resume bank, the job board offers listings of career opportunities in RFID and other related fields. The job opportunities are available for all job seekers to search.
Mark Johnson, RFID Tribe President said, "Employers and recruiters recognize RFID Tribe as a group of RFID technology experts and have continued to tap into RFID Tribe for RFID talent. Employers and RFID Tribe members highlighted the need regarding a tool for finding RFID expertise. RFID Tribe responded to the need by establishing the RFID Talent and Career Center.” Mark added, “The marketplace is searching for RFID expertise, so providing a job board tool for RFID technology experts makes good sense."
The job board has a number of advanced features. These include a Job Alert system that notifies job seekers by email of new job opportunities that match their search criteria. An anonymous resume feature enables job seekers to list their experience and qualifications in a protected environment. By giving both active and passive job seekers the ability to anonymously post their resumes, the job board service helps RFID experts to stay connected to the employment market while maintaining full control of their confidential information.
Randy Lewis, VP of Technical Solutions at Dean Randall International said, "The RFID Talent and Career Center is a ‘one stop shop’ for those individuals and companies that are actively engaged in the RFID industry. This is another valuable tool that RFID Tribe has developed to help bring all the resources together."
The RFID Talent and Career Center is another element helping RFID Tribe achieve its mission: advancing RFID technology collaboration. As RFID Tribe continues its rapid growth, it will add additional services beneficial for RFID Tribe members and their firms.

Fujitsu Announces new Highly Integrated WiMAX SoC, assumes Industry Leadership in IEEE 802.16 Technology
Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe (FME) fully supports the announcement made yesterday by Fujitsu Microelectronics America, Inc. (FMA) who introduced its highly integrated WiMAX system-on-chip at Broadband Wireless World in Las Vegas. The MB87M3400 complies with the IEEE802.16-2004 standard and will enable development of a new generation of WiMAX-compliant broadband wireless access (BWA) equipment.
Frankfurt (PRWEB) April 24, 2005 -- Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe (FME) fully supports the announcement made yesterday by Fujitsu Microelectronics America, Inc.
The Fujitsu WiMAX SoC sets the stage for both base station and subscriber station implementation, which will bring cost-efficient, high-quality, fixed broadband connectivity to Metro Area Network users, without the need for direct Line of Sight access to base stations from their remotely connected subscriber stations. The MB87M3400 is designed to enable deployment of BWA equipment for both base stations and subscriber stations in licensed or license-exempt bands below 11GHz.
“This new WiMAX-compliant SoC is the industry’s most integrated, modular, scalable, and cost-efficient solution,” said Keith Horn, senior vice president of sales and marketing for FMA. “Our design team has worked very closely with innovative systems developers worldwide to deliver the optimal technology for WiMAX-compliant equipment. Early adopters of our system-on-chip are now set to make 2005 the inaugural year for WiMAX-based customer premise equipment, base stations and low-cost subscriber stations in a broad range of geographic markets.”
Manfred Mettendorff, Senior Marketing Manager at Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe (FME) added, “In Europe in particular, with the licensed band in the 3.5GHz region, we are expecting a rapid implementation of WiMAX. Fujitsu’s cost efficient solution will enable equipment manufacturers and service providers to offer competitive business models with fast return on investment.”
He continued, "To tie-in with this announcement, FME is co-sponsoring the IQPC WiMAX conference taking place in Berlin, on April 28th & 29th. Reza Golshan, Director, System ASIC from FMA is presenting a paper there on ' Technical challenges to be mastered by making WiMAX interoperable', and our complete chip solution will be discussed and described."
The MB87M3400 uses an OFDM 256 (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) PHY that supports channels from 1.75MHz up to 20MHz, and can operate in TDD or FDD modes, with support for all available channel bandwidths. A programmable frequency selection generates the sample clock for any desired bandwidth. When applying 64QAM modulation in a 20MHz channel and using all 192 sub-carriers, the SoC's data rate can go up to 75Mbps. Uplink sub-channelisation is also supported.
The Fujitsu WiMAX SoC incorporates sophisticated processing power, including a powerful main RISC engine that implements the 802.16 upper-layer MAC, scheduler, drivers, protocol stacks, and user application software. Also on board is a secondary RISC/DSP that functions as a co-processor, which executes lower-layer MAC functions, offloading processing from the upper-layer MAC and enhancing total performance. A multi-channel DMA controller handles high-speed transactions among agents on a high-performance bus.
Incorporates Security, Radio Control, Analogue Circuitry
The Fujitsu WiMAX SoC also incorporates radio control and all required analogue circuits, along with a comprehensive set of integrated peripheral functions. To ensure security, the MB87M3400 uses DES/AES/CCM encryption/decryption engines for the 802.16 MAC privacy sub-layer. The chip also includes a memory controller, an Ethernet engine for interfacing to the network, and high-performance DAC/ADC for flexible baseband interface.
Availability
The MB87M3400 comes in a 436-pin BGA package and is available now. A complete reference design, including all required software and hardware for a cost-effective system solution, is also available. The reference design is scheduled for certification
by the WiMAX ForumTM.
Fujitsu plans ongoing, comprehensive support for the WiMAX standards, as the WiMAX Forum and its member companies work to deliver IEEE 802.16e to serve mobile wireless broadband applications.

CI Systems introduces its new Compact Field Tester (CFT) to perform quick and objective FLIR testing on site – all while the unit under test (UUT) is mounted on its platform.
Westlake Village, CA (PRWEB) April 22, 2005 -- CI Systems introduces its new Compact Field Tester (CFT) to perform quick and objective FLIR testing on site – all while the unit under test (UUT) is mounted on its platform.
“We saw the need for a lightweight field tester that would let operators stay in the field to complete FLIR testing without dismantling the thermal imager or fire control system from the platform,” said Fred Tzafrir, VP of Marketing and Sales for CI Systems. “At the bottom line, this is a big savings in maintenance costs since the UUT is shipped back to the workshop only when necessary.”
With the CFT, the operator can choose from 5 targets and 4 pre-defined set points that he sets up to meet the requirements of his applications.
Popular Applications:
•Periodic testing of fire control systems mounted on tanks or LAV’s in storage and those deployed in remote locations
•FLIRs mounted on UAVs, fixed wing or rotary wing aerial platforms
•FLIRs mounted on rifles
•FLIRs mounted as perimeter security
The CFT, which replaces CI’s Field Test Collimator (FTC), has already been successfully used in several locations.
Rugged and lightweight, the CFT withstands strenuous conditions to full MIL standards for field operation.
CI Systems develops and commercializes a complete range of products and systems for electro-optical testing and measurement, which all comply with ISO and military standards.

Pay Per Click Ads Grow in Popularity, as Email Marketing and Spam Decline in ROI. PPC Search Engines like, IpodUp.com, are Becoming the Choice of Online Advertising
There is a change occurring in the online advertising market as email marketing is losing its effectiveness, and pay per click advertising grows in popularity.
(PRWEB) April 22, 2005 -- There is a change occurring in the online advertising market as email marketing is losing its effectiveness, and pay per click advertising grows in popularity.
Until recently, email marketing has been the most popular method of reaching the masses on the internet, to promote businesses and services. Email marketing is continuing to decline in it's ROI,(Return On Investment)as its effectiveness to reach prospective customers is declining.
Why is email marketing declining? According to IpodUp.com VP of Marketing Perry Hersom, "There are several reasons. The recent CAN SPAM law has made it a less attractive advertising method. Most ISP's have now implemented overly stringent spam filters to reduce the amount of spam their customer's are receiving, even email they have asked to receive. Consumers are now able to change email addresses with ease and without cost. This has caused the number of bad email addresses to increase substantially. Due to the spam problem, consumers have become more cautious about giving out their primary email address. And, email marketing is just not tightly targeted to a specific audience".
Pay Per Click (PPC) search engines are picking up a large part of the advertising void created by the decrease in email marketing. Hersom goes on to say "We are very pleased to be in the highly targeted iPod and podcast niche of the pay per click market. We look forward to helping more advertisers convert their advertising methods to the more cost effective, and targeted advertising that pay per click provides".
IpodUp.com invites advertisers and consumers to visit IpodUp.com and let them fulfill your advertising and information needs.

Diversinet Launches Mobisecure Suite of Mobile Tokens and Two-Factor Authentication Services
MobiSecure offers mobile, Internet and security solution providers cost-effective, mass-market strong authentication solutions to protect individuals, companies and enterprises against identity theft, transaction fraud and smorphing
Toronto, ON (PRWEB via PR Web Direct) April 21, 2005 -- Diversinet Corp. (OTCBB: DVNTF), a leading provider of mobile device security and authentication solutions for the mobile data ecosystem, has launched its MobiSecure suite of mobile tokens and MobiSecure Authentication Service Center designed to protect individuals, companies and enterprises from security threats such as identity theft, online fraud and identity misrepresentation – better known as smorphing.
Diversinet provides a suite of mobile tokens to support mobile, Internet and security provider business needs for cost-effective, mass-market strong authentication solutions. MobiSecure Tokens eliminate the need for consumer and enterprise users to carry additional hard tokens, USB toggles or smart cards with smart card readers for two-factor authentication.
“With more than one billion people around the world already carrying mobile phones, why would they want to carry an additional hard token when they could use their existing phone for two-factor authentication?” says Nagy Moustafa, CEO of Diversinet. “By integrating all authentication tokens within existing mobile phones, everyone in the value-chain saves on costs and enjoys added convenience for all of their identity needs.”
Diversinet has developed a variety of mobile tokens targeted at different user communities with different needs:
- MobiSecure Token: Strong authentication tokens for mass-market online access applications.
- MobiSecure Multi-Token: Activate a variety of online access mobile tokens with the MobiSecure Multi-Token. Add and manage all the mobile tokens needed for all enterprise and consumer strong authentication accounts.
- MobiSecure SMS Token: The MobiSecure SMS Token was developed to provide mass-market authentication tokens through all SMS-based mobile phones operating on all mobile networks as authenticators for online access.
- MobiSecure Browser Plug-In Token: This token is ideal for mobile VPN access and Content Control authentication services. This mobile token activates and supports strong authentication service requests when launching a mobile browser application.
- MobiSecure API Token: Build secure applications to control, restrict and manage access of content and services based on authenticated user profiles with the MobiSecure API Token, the only mobile token for Age Verification and Content Control applications.
All MobiSecure strong authentication tokens are developed with standards-based tools running as an OATH-compliant One-Time-Password (OTP) application on mobile phones with internetworked services provided by the Diversinet MobiSecure Authentication Service Center (MASC). Diversinet mobile tokens are seamlessly managed and supported for credential registration, Over-The-Air (OTA) activation, provisioning and validation services by Diversinet's MASC. With MASC, Diversinet delivers the industry’s first open mobile security service to support OATH-compliant OTP strong authentication on all mobile phones and networks globally. MASC provides all the essential managed services for companies wanting to simplify the development, deployment and delivery of mass-market strong authentication services.
“Diversinet has developed a product for more consumer-based two-factor applications by allowing each and every mobile phone to become a mobile token for mass-market strong authentication solutions,” said Joe Greene, Vice President, IT Security Research for IDC Canada. “In a complex marketplace, products developed with open authentication techniques and mobile industry standards can help promote consumer confidence in conducting online transactions.”
IDC predicts the identity and access management market to grow to more than US$3.5 billion by 2009 from its $2.21 billion market sizing in 2003. Spending on identity and access management technology will be spread across a variety of authentication technologies; including authentication solutions encompassing a variety of tokens such as hard tokens, USB authentication tokens and software licensing authentication tokens. As these fragments are pulled together under one umbrella, IDC predicts authentication will be strengthened by requiring two, three or more factors to assert identity in which multiple passwords and logins associated with different networks and applications are replaced by one-time password authentication solutions.
“Online and mobile networks are the prime targets for transaction fraud, identity theft and smorphing. The exponential growth of malicious attacks is driving the explicit need for companies to protect their customers now or potentially lose them forever,” adds Kashif Hassan, President of Diversinet. “Diversinet’s MobiSecure suite of mobile tokens and MobiSecure Authentication Service Center enables companies to provide all customers with mobile phones with strong authentication tokens for online and mobile application access effectively, efficiently and economically.”
As a leading mobile authentication service provider, Diversinet provides its customers with cost effective, mobile-optimized strong authentication products and services that reduce identity theft and improve brand trust by leveraging more than 1.5 billion consumer and enterprise mobile phones as strong authentication tokens. Diversinet MobiSecure suite of mobile tokens and MASC offerings are available on all intelligent mobile device platforms, including Microsoft, RIM, Symbian, Palm and Java-based phones.

In recent years, the rise in malicious attacks, combined with the growth of mobile computing and the increasing openness of most corporate networks, has increased the need for strong authentication for remote access, user log-in, and single sign-on. Strong authentication, which requires users to possess additional physical hardware in addition to a password, is an essential component in protecting against the various forms of security attacks prevalent today. With more than one billion individuals globally already carrying mobile devices, the mobile phone is a natural and ubiquitous two-factor authenticator.
As a leading mobile authentication service provider, Diversinet provides
