New LinkTx Makes SMS Remote Control Easy

Compulogic have announced the release of LinkTx, a new SMS based remote monitoring and control product.

(PRWEB) November 23, 2005 -- LinkTx is a compact SMS based monitoring unit, allowing a GSM mobile or GSM enabled computer system to receive alarms and other information from remote locations.

Additionally, text messages can be sent to turn equipment on or off and receive up to date measurement and alarm information directly to a mobile phone or PC.

With LinkTx, Emergency conditions, for example equipment failure, flooding, fire or intruder entry are immediately notified to up to four mobile telephone numbers. All information is presented in a clear and easy to read format on the Mobile's display.

Typical applications include security systems, remote diagnostics, equipment alarm notification, flood alert, fire alert, temperature monitoring, asset protection, position monitoring, remote command and control and home automation.

A unique template driven text message command system virtually eliminates the need to remember commands making the system very simple to setup and use.

The unit is housed in a tough aluminium enclosure measuring only 120mm x 80mm x 55mm and is also available as an OEM PCB set.
