200 Miles Per Gallon in a Car ... Impossible? NO! Automobile Fuel Vaporizing Systems

The Largest Collection Of Information On Over 900 Of These Extremely Efficient Gas-Saving Devices Ever Collected in One Place is Now Available on One Easy-To-Use CD!

Vapor Systems Technology Inc. of Spring Valley, California, has produced the most incredible collection of information on 900+ fuel-stingy inventions that has ever been made available to the public. No-installation-needed CD even includes a dynamite fully functional search engine that reveals all the details, specifications and comments from their inventors!

(PRWEB) January 1, 2005 -- Many people are aware of the fact that gasoline introduced into an engine in liquid form, such as by carburetion or fuel injection, has to be changed into a vapor before it will burn. Liquid fuel simply does not ignite. The heat of the engine helps to a small extent to vaporize fuel, but most of the liquid gasoline introduced goes out the exhaust as unburned fuel. That's why we have catalytic converters, and other types of emission control devices. There is, however, a much better, more efficient way.

Back in 1932, a man by the name of Charles Nelson Pogue built a device that was tested by Ford Motor Company and Winnepeg Motor Company of Canada. It was a fuel system like no other. Instead of using conventional methods of dispensing liquid gasoline into the engine, he created a superheating device that literally boiled the fuel into a dry vapor state. Hence the term 'Vaporizer'. It was disclosed that his vaporizer got 25+ miles per one pint of gasoline! Or in easier to figure terms, over 200 mile per gallon! For whatever reason, his device never made it to market. But regardless of that, the cat had been let out of the bag...

In the 1970's, a young mechanic-inventor named Tom Ogle of El Paso, Texas turned the automotive world on it's ear with an astounding claim of over 100 miles per gallon with his vaporizer-equipped Ford V8. His story was very well-documented in the El Paso Times newspaper. The stories can be obtained by contacting the El Paso Library research division, and asking for information on the Oglemobile as it came to be known. There are at least 6 different articles, and Mr. Ogle took the local press on test drives and proved his claims. It was also reported that a representative from Shell Oil Company asked him what he would do if someone offered him a VERY large sum of money (reportedly $25 Million!). He stated that he would not be interested, he was going to bring it to market. Unfortunately, it appears that Mr Ogle met with an untimely demise before he could realize his dream.

The author of this CD and President of Vapor Systems Technology, Mr. David Steckling is an ASE-Certified Automobile and Heavy Truck Master Technician, was a California state smog tech for over 15 years, and has been an automotive technical editor for the last 6 years for one of the leading companies providing automobile repair information in the US and Canada. He has over 25 years of experience in the Automotive field. On top of that, he is a college graduate in Computer Science. While preparing to build his own fuel vaporizing system, he chose to see what had already been done. By the time he was finished, he had compiled over 400 hours of research material and put it into one CD.

There are over 1500 devices that have been registered at the US Patent Office that are designed to vaporize fuel through various means and methods. He chose the best, most effective systems, and put over 900 of them on the disc! There is even a search engine installed directly on the CD, so that any info desired can quickly be found without any guesswork! Over 600 of these systems have expired patents, and are now public domain. They can be built, even sold, by anyone! Every conceiveable tip, research result, building recommendation and helpful hint from the inventors is right at your fingertips.

Stories have abounded, folklore persists, legends of such fuel systems live on. But now, thanks to the availability of the Internet, the truth has come out in overwhelming fashion! Every fuel vapor system that ever enjoyed success is on this CD. If you would like to stop paying at the pump, and want to know how to build yourself a vaporizer, this CD is for you!

Ohaus Tallies Win With Introduction of New Counting Scale

Low Cost EC Series Counts on the Go
Advancing accuracy, durability and portability into one practical design, Ohaus is introducing the EC Series Counting scales. The new scales, joining Ohaus’ existing line of counting scales, feature and internal counting resolution of 1:600,000. Geared for users seeking more economical and cost-effective counting solutions, the EC Counting Scales provide ease-of-use and reliable results.

Pine Brook, NJ (PRWEB) January 18, 2005 -- The new high-resolution counting scales have capacities from six to 60 pounds, and can count parts as small as 0.0002 pounds (based on model). Ideally suited for a host of counting applications, including annual inventories, stock rooms, print shops and rentals, the EC Series Counting Scales can be used to count parts ranging from semiconductor chips, electronic coils and screws to ticket stubs and seeds.

The EC Series Counting Scales offer all the features demanded from industrial, warehousing and production applications, including easy-to-use manual Average Piece Weight entry with configuration options for either pound or gram display. The scales are designed with a removable stainless steel weighing pan and durable ABS plastic housing, perfect for use in industrial environments. Additionally, the 80-hour internal rechargeable battery with power-saving Auto-shut off feature and integrated carry handles provides true portability.

For fast and accurate counting, users simply place a known quantity of what they wish to count on the scale and press the dedicated Sampling Key or, for components where unit weight is known, simply input the value on the dedicated APW key. The scale will automatically display the total count of all parts on the pan as well as calculate and display the unit weight of the part. Users can start with a small sample size of 10, and then add random lots of pieces (below original sampling size) to increase their APW accuracy. The software in the machine automatically updates and enhances its average piece weight data as components are loaded onto the pan during counting. If the total weight or APW is too low, the EC Counting Scale will warn the user with a warning on the LCD panel.

The EC Series Counting Scales provide weighing, counting and accumulation application modes, and can perform both positive and negative counting, continuously keeping track of how many items have been added or removed from the scale. The counting scales have dedicated keys for the most common counting operations, including sample, tare, zero, APW entry stability, accumulations and pre-set tare entry. Preset tare weights can be quickly entered via the keyboard, or use the Tare key.

The memory accumulation feature keeps a running tally of each individual count – invaluable in batch counting operations or when accumulation counting large quantities of the same part. The new counting scales also include 10 memory locations for storing commonly-used part weights, easily accessed using the numeric keypad.

All of the EC Series Counting Scales come complete with the following standard features:
• Three-window, backlit LCD with fast display of weight, average piece weight and parts count.
• Seven function, full counting keypad with numeric keys.
• Pound or gram weighing units.
• Auto-optimization feature recalculates APW constantly for enhanced parts counting accuracy.
• Adjustable filtering level and Auto-Zero Tracking for weighing in industrial conditions.
• AC Adapter and internal rechargeable lead acid battery.

New PFSWeb Distribution Center Starts Up in Mississippi

435,000-S.F. Facility Provides Product Fulfillment for F500 Client

PFSweb, Inc. of Plano (Dallas) TX, a global leader in e-commerce fulfillment, third party logistics and business process outsourcing, has started up a 635,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art distribution center in Southaven, Mississippi, (near Memphis) to serve an undisclosed Fortune 500 company. PFSweb, listed on the NASDAQ, has put $5 million into the high speed facility to fulfill the three-year contract and has options for expansion. It will employ about 100 persons on average.

Plano, TX and Southaven MI (PRWEB) January 11, 2005 -- PFSweb, Inc. (NASDAQ: PFSW) began product fulfillment operations this week for a Fortune 500 consumer products client in a new facility at Airways Distribution Center in Southaven, Miss. The center, a short distance from PFSweb’s nearly 1 million-square-foot distribution hub in Memphis, Tenn., is expected to employ an average of about 100 persons.

PFSweb, a global provider of integrated business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions, announced a three-year lease of the 435,000-square-foot building on Aug. 30, 2004. Operations at the industrial park, created by Industrial Development Inc. (IDI) of Atlanta, Ga., support a large, three-year contract with an undisclosed brand name client.

“To meet our obligations for this prominent client, PFSweb expects to incur capital expenditures of approximately $5.0 million,” said Mark Layton, senior partner and chief executive officer of PFSweb. “Our expansion was financed in a favorable industrial revenue bond financing structure through the State of Mississippi and Comerica Bank.” (Announced Jan. 4, 2004.)

“The start-up brings the PFSweb total workforce to nearly 900 employees,” Layton noted. “Services at the new center will include inventory management, fulfillment activities, integrated reverse logistics and transportation management.”

“The plant’s high volume throughput capability – as much as 70,000 packages a day -- makes for a very robust order fulfillment solution to effectively accommodate the client’s variable demand and seasonality,” emphasized Scott Talley, Partner and Vice President-Worldwide Distribution at PFSweb.

“This new facility is a highly progressive distribution center utilizing state-of-the-art Siemens Dematic automated material handling systems,” Talley emphasized. The system incorporates:

• PickDirector Computer System and PowerRail Mounted Devices, including computer-activated, light-directed item selection, which increases quality and speed and reduces operating costs.

• A SortDirector Computer System which enables high speed carton sorting for optimum through-put while reducing “touches” and handling costs.

• Siemens’ RS200 High Rate Shipping Sorter, which provides reliable conveyance of products
and cartons regardless of their size and shape. This technology gives the client the ability to efficiently offer a wide array of products to their customers.

“Another key feature of the Southaven operation includes pre-sorting of packages by destination ZIP code to reduce the number of times packages have to be handled while in transit, thereby reducing both in-transit damage and transportation costs. This benefit, achieved through a sort process that facilitates bypassing carrier and postal processing facilities, generates substantial freight cost reductions for our client. The facility also will offer multiple delivery options, such as next-day, ground, postal and LTL (less-than-truckload) shipments,” he said.

“We will perform multiple quality checks using extensive in-line barcode readers and weigh-in-motion scales for optimal throughput with a high degree of control, which will reduce shipping errors and rework costs. Important to this client is PFSweb’s ability to efficiently accommodate periods of both high and variable demand year-round,” Talley stated.

“Critical benefits for this F500 client,” Layton added, “include increased order accuracy, enhanced customer satisfaction, faster order fulfillment, flexible warehouse capacity and reduced inventory, direct costs and overhead. We are genuinely excited about this client relationship, for both the performance potential and growth opportunity it represents.”

Known as the “brand behind the brand,” PFSweb provides seamless, transparent, “best-in-class” supply-chain efficiencies and management for its Fortune 500 and Global 1000 clients. PFSweb currently warehouses, manages and fulfills more than $1 billion annually in merchandise and transactions from its distribution facilities in Memphis, Toronto, Canada, and Liège, Belgium.

"We have purchased and tested every Vending Machine on the market," says Bird, and "our warehouse is full of broken down machines, and many of these competitor’s machines broke down within days of putting them on location."

At North American Vending we show these broken down, brand name machines so our customers can make a good, sound, educated decision when it comes to their vending machine business.

"Many of our new customers have been interested in the vending industry for years," says CEO, Terry Bird, "and vending machines sales are at a record level because consumers are purchasing fresh candy, toys, gumballs, soda, sandwiches, and snacks at record levels. Our machines can vend all these products," says Bird, "while many of the machines on the market today cannot."

Are North American Vending Machines more expensive than plastic machines? "Yes." says Bird, "Chrome and metal are more expensive than plastic, but you have to purchase our vending machines just once while most of our customers have purchased 3, 4, and 5 plastic machines, and have already discovered the problems with plastic."

“Yes,” says Bird, “once you own just one plastic machine you understand immediately that our machines would be inexpensive at twice the price because you simply cannot earn money from a broken, plastic machines that breaks down again and again -- and worse, you lose your vending locations because customers complain to the store about machines that do not work.”

Vending, and vending machines are becoming more and more popular for people as a business opportunity, for those who want to start a small business, for those who want to start a business, for those who want a home-based business, and for those want to work at home and make money or earn money. In fact, says Terry, "My own daughter is in college today, she has a car payment, and she is paying her own way with just four machines."

Cotton Tillage Machine Helps Clean Valley Air

This one-pass farm tool makes it easy for growers to comply with new air quality regulations.

Bakersfield, CA (PRWEB) January 6, 2005 -- In the San Joaquin Valley of California air quality is a top priority. The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency declared this rich agricultural region a "non-attainment" area under the federal Clean Air Act. The culprit is particulate matter of 10 microns or smaller (PM10) from dust and diesel engine exhaust. Although they were exempt in the past, the law now requires farmers to reduce PM10 to clean the Valley's air, one of the worst in the nation. Farmers must choose specific conservation management practices (CMP) that include conservation tillage, a method of working the soil that cuts down on the number of trips over the field. This system reduces the amount of PM10 dust particles that enter the air.

A company in Bakersfield, Interstate Equipment & Mfg. Corp., builds a patented one-pass tillage machine for cotton growers. After the cotton crop is harvested, the Interstate Shredder-Bedder digs down into the soil and extracts the entire cotton plant and root, crushes and shreds it and reshapes the same beds all in a single pass over the field. The shredded plant residue decomposes quickly and becomes vital organic matter to enrich the soil and help prevent wind and water erosion. Growers can then plant the following crop back into the previous beds. Two and four-row machines are available with larger self-propelled, multi-purpose units in the works. The Shredder-Bedder is ideal for "controlled-traffic farming" and is adaptable to global positioning systems technology (GPS).

Eliminating multiple tillage operations such as heavy disking and plowing dramatically reduces PM10 dust emissions. Additional benefits of conservation tillage include less air pollution from diesel engines, less fuel usage, less soil compaction and better water penetration. Recent tests by the University of California show substantial savings for growers who use this system.

Concern for the quality of life in the San Joaquin Valley is a high priority as the population continues to increase rapidly in this agricultural area. Conservation tillage technology helps clean the Valley's air. The Interstate Shredder-Bedder makes it easy for cotton growers to comply with new California CMP regulations. This farming system is friendly to the environment and a model for the future of sustainable agriculture.
