Visit ATE 2005 - the world's largest assembly trade show
July 18, 2005
The Assembly Technology Expo offers both guests and exhibitors the chance to learn more about the assembly operations industry through hands-on access to the industries' newest innovations, concepts and equipment in order to enhance any assembly procedures.
Visit FlexLink at booth 611
With over 25 years of experience in industrial automation manufacturing, FlexLink offers industry-leading solutions to any efficiency needs within the assembly, filling, machining and packaging processes. The effectiveness of the FlexLink designs will be simulated at this show with the introduction of new and upgraded products into the marketplace. This range will include automated multi-station assembly systems using RFID technology. Also, a new generation of PCB handling modules, integrated into the EASi Line, will demonstrate FlexLink’s capability of providing the highest quality for any handling requirements with taping, feeding, board-handling, lead forming or depaneling machines.
DAS 30
FlexLink will launch the new DAS 30, a reconfigurable manufacturing solution, which has been developed to arrange and control consumer’s production flow. This modern design and step-by-step way of automation will offer a better return on investment by enabling customers to make changes during projects, as well as offering a more efficient factory layout or the ability to change the existing layout.
Benefits of DAS 30:
• Scalable, modular and reconfigurable system for dynamic markets with optimized level of automation
• Cost-effective and capable to react faster to market needs
• Standardization and interoperability based on IPC/CAMX
• New system management methods and data collection
• Improved assembly planning and system design
XK Pallet
FlexLink’s heavy duty XK has been utilized for many years in hostile environments, such as the Automotive and Machined Parts industries. Now, RFID identification and tracking has been integrated directly into the XK pallets.
Benefits of XK include:
• High quality, reusable and flexible solutions minimize costs during changes of the production flow
• Pallets accommodate products with unfavorable geometry
• Produce different products in the same line at the same time by using the pallet as an independent interface
• Minimize the risk for damage of sensitive and fragile products and thereby increase production yield
• Shorter lead-times with less products through total control of the production flow
