Coding & Marking Company Imaje Continues to Build on Previous Success in the UK

Runcorn, UK (PRWEB) March 1, 2006 -- Following the restructure in September last year, Imaje have strengthened their position in the coding, marking and print & apply market.

The recent appointment of four additional Area Sales Managers to cover the company’s redefined sales areas means that Imaje are well placed to continue their successful method of consultative solution selling.

“Both our sales and technical teams are equipped with multi-product skill sets enabling them to identify and design the most cost effective and efficient coding solution for each customer,” explains Steve Ellison, UK Operations Manager. “Every solution is different but with a multitude of technologies to choose from, including small and large character inkjet, laser, print & apply and in-line thermal transfer, plus bespoke software solutions, Imaje can meet all individual customer requirements.”

Rumours spread throughout the industry last year following the restructure which took place across the European Imaje network, but Imaje have always been proactive in making the changes demanded by a continually developing “solution orientated” market. “Imaje have never been phased by change,” states Steve Ellison. “Throughout the Imaje network there are people with different strengths in different areas. As the market demands, these strengths are brought into play and roles change. The business undergoes a metamorphosis to meet current market requirements and will continue to do so to satisfy customer needs.”

Ellison has also affected changes internally at the Runcorn site with the creation of a CRM Department (Customer Relationship Management). Marketing Officer, Debbie Rhodes explains, “CRM has become the buzz word, particularly in Sales & Marketing. Our customers no longer just want an inkjet printer. They want proactive solutions to forthcoming legislation; they want advice and cost effective options for solving coding problems. The CRM department works in close co-operation with the Technical Department, including the newly appointed full-time Helpdesk Engineer, as well as the Sales Department, resulting in a highly customer focussed environment.”

Steve continues, “2006 will see the launch of more innovative products from Imaje and the new structure and increased sales force, will ensure that we continue our sales success in markets as diverse as FMCG and Direct Part Marking.”
