With an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tonnes, ADPICO is the UAE’s largest producer of steel tubes & profiles for the construction sector.

Today, Safa group is a diversified steel conglomerate of four production units: Abu Dhabi Metal Pipes and Profiles Industries Complex (better known as ADPICO) in Abu Dhabi, UAE; Saveh Rolling and Safa Rolling in Saveh, Iran; and Alpha Steel in New Port Wales, UK. Over the years, Safa has established itself as the largest steel pipes and steel tubes manufacturing company in the GCC region. By 2006, the Safa Group intends to get into production of the entire gamut of steel products including strips, plates, stainless and other steel finished products. We are now considered the largest producer of scaffolding pipes in the GCC region due to our large capacity to produce on 8 mill lines with two more in the processes of being commissioned. Our size range is from ¼”- 8”inches, and soon up to 24”inches. Our products are used throughout the Middle East & GCC region and are a synonymous within the UAE construction sector. We are an ISO 9001:2000 certified company as well as an API approved company allowing us to be the only producer of such pipe for the oil and gas industry in the region.

Our facility is still in ramp –up phase as we are constantly adding additional services to our product range, giving us the ability to capture new clients locally and abroad, says Hammude.

Many of the large-scale projects require certified and tested premium products, which we can deliver. Shipments are usually the same day while production can mean the following day delivery,” detailed Hammude.
