The American-Lights® UV Air Cleaners are proudly made in the USA.

American Air & Water®, Inc., a South Carolina Corporation, offers a complete line of residential, commercial and industrial UVC air, surface and water disinfection systems which greatly reduce or eliminate microbial contaminants in the air or water for any facility. The company has successfully provided products to various federal and local government agencies, such as The US Environmental Protection Agency Emergency Operations Center, The CDC and several military operations. In addition to the UVC products, American Air & Water® also offers a complete line of Sporicidin® decontamination and disinfection products.

The first step in being awarded the contract was to obtain a Past Performance Report from Open Ratings, A Dun and Bradstreet Company. After evaluating various key aspects like reliability, quality, accuracy and customer service from several of American Air & Water's® customers, the report showed that American Air & Water's® overall rating was at the highest level obtainable.

In addition, American Air & Water® provided documentation to prove that the American-Lights® UV Air Cleaner conforms to the safety standards for electrical products issued by UL Underwriters Laboratories®, Inc., a nationally recognized standards developing organization.

After all negotiations were completed, the GSA determined the prices offered to be fair and reasonable and the Multiple Awards Schedule contract was granted to American Air & Water®.
