Impressed by its exceptional forging technology and well-equipped factory, Jing Duann, which works with ranges of component suppliers/manufacturers, such as motor forged parts, forged gears and hand tools, plans to play a bigger role in 2008.
This August, Jing Duann will participate in Beijing Machine Tools Expo., marketing its high-speed forging presses, categories of forgings, ranges of components, and also, its annual strategy--factory expansion. To publicizing markets, Jing Duann is about to launch a campaign in the Expo. and attempts to announce its mass scale on production with the annual turnkey projects:
Special Specification for Japanese Motor Manufacturer:
A big breakthrough came in this year--Jing Duann's new cooperation with Japanese local motor manufacturer, Honda, came at the right time. Jing Duann has completed a new project with the Japanese motor manufacturer by its special service early in this year. Standardization of motor components in Japan is definitely strict, and less foreign manufacturers can occupy an important position in the Japanese market easily like this. However, Jing Duann made this happen.
Jing Duann's FP Series High Speed Forging Press and JKP Knuckle Joint Cold Forging Press, of which output is 10000pcs/8hrs, offers its client a big eye by producing stable and high-quality forgings. Combined with its turnkey project, Jing Duann innovates the machines that are designed to provide Honda a special specification: 30pec/min to raise its client's production rate. Besides this, Jing Duann has given assistance to its client for setting up a new plant with full automation. From this July on, Jing Duann will keep this project in R&D Lab Pilot Run Phase, testing more molds/machines for its client.
Solution-Counselor for Indian Forging Press Manufacturer:
As a leading forging tech-integrator, Jing Duann also takes effort on turnkey solution services for worldwide manufacturers, especially for beginners in forging business. It can not only offer clients advice and know-how about setting up a new plant, but can assign senior solution counselors to give clients assistance. An Indian forging press manufacturer, to which Jing Duann will assign its senior sales and counselors this September, is a coming example for this typical project.
Equipment Purchasing for Manufacturer in Brazil:
To widen its marketing channels, Jing Duann offers all sorts of thoughtful services, including a component/equipment purchasing service for clients. Clients all over the world can contact Jing Duann for this service while in need for mass procurement. For instance, early in this year, Jing Duann assisted a motor manufacturer in Brazil to purchase band saw with mass quantity, helping its clients keep costs down.
Lowering waste, launching full automatic technology, and elevating its production capability are three main codes of Jing Duann's core enterprise. According to these principles, it expects to expand a new factory to upgrade its efficiency by re-planning the production lines, and upscale its capability from 400~1600 tons to 800~3200 tons with more machines. Looking forward to setting up more partnership, Jing Duann will definitely show global markets its strength by this expansion.

Chinavasion Announces Faster Shipping Times
Chinavasion, the industry leader in China dropship services, has just announced two improvements designed to help dropshippers profit from China-direct ordering: faster dispatch times and a unique discount levels scheme.
Shenzhen, Guangdong, China (PRWEB) June 26, 2008 -direct ordering: faster dispatch times and a unique discount levels scheme.
Dropshipping is a supply chain management method where the vendor doesn't actually hold any stock, and instead passes customer details onto their dropshipping supplier who ships it to the vendor's customer.
The use of dropshipping suppliers has become an immensely popular method of supply chain management in the e-commerce world with some operators who use dropship wholesalers reporting a 200% to 300% increase in revenue.
When it comes to what dropshippers want from a wholesale dropship company, be they a China dropship company or a wholesale dropship firm from the US it can usually be summed up in three words: speed, reliability and price.
Anything which gets to customers four weeks after being ordered has arrived one (or sometimes two) weeks two late according to Chinavasion's PR Manager Rose Li as dropshippers reputations rely on speed and quality when they trade on eBay and other online marketplaces.
"Dropshipper's reputation relies on fast service," says Rose Li. "And, as anybody in e-commerce will tell you, your reputation is everything."
Not content at being the best Chinese wholesale dropship company online Chinavasion has tweaked its shipping system to guarantee its customers, and its customers' customers, get the best, fastest service possible.
Rose Li says the China dropship company has improved its stock allocation and tracking data system to make sure that the people who need their goods delivered quickly get what they need.

Ecliptek Reduces Delivery Cycle Time on all EMO MEMS Oscillators
Ecliptek Corporation, a leading supplier of frequency products, is pleased to announce significant reduction of lead times for the EMO family of programmable MEMS clock oscillators, on production quantities up to 50,000 units.
Costa Mesa, CA (PRWEB) June 26, 2008 -- Ecliptek has just shortened the delivery time on their complete product line of EMO oscillators. Ecliptek's programmable MEMS clock oscillators provide component engineers with a vast range of readily available solutions, necessary to meet the dynamic requirements of today's global market.
"Reduction of lead times is always a positive," said Robert Zarrow, Vice President of Sales. "With improved processes, Ecliptek has been able to cut volume deliveries dramatically, in many cases half of what they were previously."
Available package sizes include 5mm x 7mm, 3.2mm x 5mm, 2.5mm x 3.2mm, and 2.0mm x 2.5mm in supply voltage of 3.3V, 2.5V, or 1.8V. Ecliptek currently processes production quantities up to 10,000 units within 8 working days at pricing below the longer lead time fixed frequency oscillator products.
The EMO family is an oscillator product where the CMOS output frequency is primarily controlled by an internal MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical system) resonator. At the heart of EMO oscillators is a vibrating MEMS mechanical resonator 100 times smaller than its consumer grade quartz competitor which allows ultra-miniature packaging without sacrificing performance.
"In lieu of waiting up to 5 weeks for samples of quartz based oscillators, and then another 8 weeks for production delivery, Ecliptek can ship free samples within 1 - 2 days and production quantities (from 100 to 10,000 units) in 3 to 8 days, with reduced costs," said Zarrow.
The EMO oscillators use QFN-type plastic injection molded packaging, resulting in outstanding thermal performance, high reliability and minimal lead inductance. In comparison, quartz crystal oscillators require more expensive, special purpose ceramic or metal packages.
The Engineering community is tasked with specifying smaller components while actively reducing cost and lead time. Ecliptek's EMO product provides all of these advantages to designers, along with improved performance and reliability, paving the way for future generations of programmable MEMS clock oscillators.

A growing number of manufacturers are approaching Wholesale Furniture Brokers to add their products to their website due to their acknowledged reputation, search engine prominence, and renowned rapport with new and existing customers as well as numerous shipping companies. Zuo Modern is being introduced at Wholesale Furniture Brokers as being the modern solution for your chic home. Their eco-friendly practices and modern style of furnishings give Zuo Modern a chance to reach the conscientious shoppers at Wholesale Furniture Brokers.
Zuo Modern's furniture line includes office, bar, dining, occasional, and outdoor furniture with a modern contemporary design. The furniture available from Zuo Modern is designed with clean and prevailing lines and shapes with a blend of classic colors. Think Le Corbusier and Ibiza loungers, Pod Chairs, stainless steel and chrome, leathers in black and white; all the classics. The price is also a highly competitive selling feature.
The new modern furniture available from Zuo Modern will give Wholesale Furniture Brokers more diversity with their own product line. "Low prices, quality, and variety of choice are the three most important factors while shopping for furniture online." says Wholesale Furniture Brokers marketing manager, Matt Holmes, when asked how Zuo Modern fits into Wholesale Furniture Brokers product line. "The low prices and diversity of the Zuo Modern line, along with the high quality designs will target the tastes of a new segment of shoppers and give our existing customers another reason to buy here again."
Many companies have developed different practices to take part in keeping our environment "green". Zuo Modern is one of the companies that is committed to protecting the environment. From manufacturing to packaging their furniture from their plant in China, Zuo Modern feels their methods are not only functional, but also environmentally friendly. Zuo Modern has applied for ISO 1400 certification to show that they follow international standards for their environmental management systems. Those systems include replacing trees used by their manufacturing plant, not using tropical wood listed in the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES), eliminating ozone-damaging Freon, not using any type of formaldehyde, and maximizing the use of powder paint finishes on metal parts.
Zuo Modern's state-of-the-art chrome plating facility in China demonstrates the effectiveness of their environmental management systems. Their fully automated facility controls the water purity during chrome plating to end up with water as clean as the water that flows from the faucet in your home. Zuo Modern also fully supports the elimination of Chlorofluorocarbons (CFC's) to help prevent the ozone layer from breaking down. Since 2005, Zuo Modern has used a high quality, non-hazardous powder paint coating process to create all of their stunning finishes on chairs, home desks, filing cabinets, and barstools. Zuo Modern uses recycled cardboard with water-based imprints to protect and ship their products to their customers. Showing responsibility to do their part for the environment, Zuo Modern also manufacturers a wide variety of metal and wood furniture using recycled materials.
Recently opening a new warehouse in Montreal, Canada, Zuo Modern also has four other warehouses around the world including Oakland and Miami in the US, Guadalajara in Mexico, and Guangdong in China. "Steve and I got together and looked at every room of our homes for four months and came up with the plan for Zuo Modern. Here we are three years later," said Zuo Modern president, Luis Ruesga when asked how his company got started.
Wholesale Furniture Brokers is enthusiastic about the new furniture lines because of the environmental practices of Zuo Modern, and they can ship the modern furniture easily to customers in the US and Canada.
The conscious effort to add even more eco friendly manufacturers to Wholesale Furniture Brokers will not only give customers more shopping selections for "green" furniture in Canada and the US, but will also make other manufacturers realize they need to look at their own practices to make environmentally conscious decisions to conserve the environment.
About Wholesale Furniture Brokers
Wholesale Furniture Brokers started selling furniture online in 2002 using a 'Click and Mortar' concept that utilizes an affiliation of more than 30 independently owned furniture stores in the USA and Canada. For Wholesale Furniture Brokers' part to conserve the environment, they exercise "green" practices with a reduce, reuse, and recycle policy in their offices, and make a conscious effort to select ecologically responsible vendors. Patio Enclosures, Inc. Provides Five Lessons for Building a Sunroom
If you’re thinking about adding a sunroom, take some lessons from the experts at Patio Enclosures, Inc., North America’s largest custom manufacturer and installer of sunrooms.
Macedonia, Ohio (Vocus/PRWEB ) June 26, 2008 -- When it comes to adding living space, homeowners are doing their homework, and sunrooms are making the grade. Sunrooms, solariums and conservatories are rooms constructed primarily of glass that can create a light-filled home in any climate. These sun-drenched rooms come in many shapes and styles from simple screened enclosures for use during nice weather to insulated sunrooms for year-round use. Sunrooms are an excellent way to expand a home because they not only add to your home’s square footage, but also because of the value they offer as a place for relaxation, entertainment or recreation.
If you’re thinking about adding a sunroom, take some lessons from the experts at Patio Enclosures, Inc., North America’s largest custom manufacturer and installer of sunrooms.
Lesson One: Select the type of sunroom that best fits your lifestyle. Screen enclosures let you enjoy the benefits of nature at the most affordable price. In warmer climates, use them all year for protection from insects, rain and harsh sun. In cooler climates, screen enclosures are ideal for spring through late summer.
Seasonal sunrooms are constructed with single-pane glass windows and screens, ideally with full-length floor-to-ceiling views of the outdoors. While not designed to be heated or air conditioned, natural ventilation and window blinds or shades add comfort and extend seasonal use. In northern climates, seasonal rooms can generally be used from early spring to late fall. In the South, a seasonal room can often be used all year.
Year-round enclosures use thermally insulated glass, thermal barriers in the frames and can be heated and air conditioned for year-round use in accordance with local building codes. Strongly consider ENERGY STAR ® rated glass doors and windows, and ENERGY STAR® components such as floors and roof panels to ensure the highest energy-efficiency and maximum comfort.
Solariums are a unique option for homeowners seeking a panoramic view of their surroundings. These insulated glass enclosures give the feel of being outdoors and are constructed with a curved or straight eave roofline. For an unmatched feeling of elegance, the English-style Conservatory is once again becoming a popular choice among homeowners. Available with either a glass or translucent roof, these sunrooms have a distinctive Old English styling that blends with a wide range of architecture.
Lesson Two: Consider the room’s use. If you simply want an outdoor retreat during nice weather, a screen porch or seasonal sunroom might be right for you. If you are looking for an expanded family room, kitchen, exercise room or home office to use year round, select a solarium, conservatory or insulated sunroom. Today’s higher quality sunrooms come with in-wall wiring as an option, so you can use them for almost any purpose.
Lesson Three: Consider the sunroom’s view. Full-length floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall glass gives the best view of the outdoors. A true custom sunroom builder will be able to size windows and doors without using unsightly filler to meet the homeowners specifications. Filler obstructs occupant’s views and creates an “add-on” look that can detract from your home.
Think about the room’s sun exposure. Directly exposed sunrooms will probably need blinds or shades, and perhaps low-e glass with special tints to prevent overheating and to filter harmful UV rays from the sun. Sunrooms facing wooded lots can often be left completely natural.
According to experts at Patio Enclosures, Inc. who custom design, manufacture and install more sunrooms than any other company, sunrooms not only increase living space, but also change the ambience of the entire home. One homeowner described her solarium as a panoramic picture everyday.
Lesson Four: Fit the sunroom into your current home structure. There’s nothing worse than a room addition that looks like an add-on. Have the company design a room that blends with your home’s character and its natural roofline. This will require a custom manufacturer such as Patio Enclosures, Inc.
Lesson Five: Aluminum vs. Vinyl. Both are practical, economical, energy-efficient, and made to last. Base your decision on what looks best for your home.
Patio Enclosures, Inc. designs and installs sunrooms for every type of house, blending custom looks with existing architecture. The company’s products include screen enclosures, seasonal and year round patio, porch and deck enclosures, all-glass solariums and conservatories. Sunrooms can be planned when building your home, can be added, or built on an existing deck or patio.

Main Street Gourmet Launches New Probiotic Muffins
Leading baked goods manufacturer chooses probiotic ingredient, GanedenBC30, to power new raisin bran probiotic muffins.
Cuyahoga Falls, OH (PRWEB) June 25, 2008 -- Main Street Gourmet, one of the fastest growing manufacturers of gourmet frozen bakery products, has introduced Activate -- a new raisin bran muffin fortified with the high-survivability probiotic, GanedenBC30 (Bacillus coagulans GBI-30, 6086). The new probiotic muffins will be sold at retail and are being positioned as an easy way to promote digestive health.
Main Street Gourmet's CEO, Harvey Nelson, explains the creation of the new probiotic muffins, "I noticed how other companies were including probiotics in their products and I wondered if we could accomplish the same results with our muffins."
While probiotics are commonly found in dairy products, adding them to baked goods is an entirely new application that Ganeden Labs, the manufacture of GanedenBC30, and Main Street are jointly spearheading. Nelson continues, "At first I was a bit skeptical, however after collaborating with Ganeden Labs, we were able to do something no company had done before. We found a method to add probiotic bacteria to our mixing andrr baking process without affecting the muffin's taste or texture. That's a big deal in the baking business."
Ganeden Labs has dubbed GanedenBC30 as "The Probiotic That Can Take It" since it can survive harsh manufacturing processes as well as the acid and bile of the digestive system. Ganeden's Co-Founder and Chief Scientist, Sean Farmer explains that, "GanedenBC30 stands apart from other traditional probiotics because it's spore-forming - meaning that inside the bacterial cell is a hardened structure, or spore, which is similar to a seed. This spore, or seed, protects the cell's genetic material against manufacturing, shelf life and digestive transit. Other traditional probiotics are not able to form these protective spores, making them more vulnerable. Because of its unique composition, GanedenBC30 is able to reach the intestines in greater numbers and begin to colonize better than many other current probiotic strains available."
An independent panel of scientists has found GanedenBC30 to be Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) in use as a food ingredient. In clinical studies, GanedenBC30 has been shown to aid digestion and improve immune function when used regularly. Companies such as Main Street Gourmet continue to provide evidence that GanedenBC30 can be successfully added to many probiotic foods and beverages.
The new Activate raisin bran probiotic fortified muffins are available for grocery store distribution for retail sale in 4-pack clamshells under Main Street's retail division, Isabella's Healthy Bakery. Isabella's president, Monica Curtis, comments on the addition of GanedenBC30, "For many years, we've been focusing on taking things out of our muffins. Now the opposite is true. We've started to enhance them with nutrients to offer consumers the best of both worlds -- a muffin that not only tastes good, but is also good for you. With so much attention now on digestive health, creating a probiotic muffin just made sense."
About Main Street Gourmet:
Founded in 1987 in Akron, Ohio, Main Street Gourmet is a manufacturer of gourmet frozen bakery products specializing in the development of custom formulations for large regional and national restaurant chains. The rapidly growing company features extensive product lines sold in both the retail and foodservice markets that include muffins, brownies, cookies, biscotti and granola.

Millenia Wall Solutions Takes Landscape Contractor Productivity to New Heights
The Millenia Retaining Wall System Boosts Installer Productivity by 300 Percent with Recycled Materials that Reduce the Environmental Impact of Retaining Walls by 55 Percent.
Minneapolis, MN and San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) June 25, 2008 -- In today's real estate market, developers, builders and contractors need new materials and methods that improve construction efficiency. Today in San Francisco, Calif. at PCBC 2008, the homebuilding industry's foremost trade show and conference, Millenia Wall Solutions (booth #6602) announced that its revolutionary retaining wall system enables contractors to achieve dramatic improvements in productivity. Using conventional materials (such as manufactured concrete blocks) to construct a segmental retaining wall (SRW), a typical five-man crew can complete about 750 square feet per day. With Millenia's system, a three-man crew can install from 1,500 to 2,000 square feet per day.
"Contractors constructing retaining walls with Millenia wall units can install double the amount of wall per day with half the crew," said Paul Forsberg, president, Millenia Wall Solutions.
"Contractors can achieve remarkable productivity with our technology because Millenia wall units are so lightweight and easy to install," said Robert Race, P.E., chief technology officer, Millenia Wall Solutions. "The Millenia system makes SRW projects easier, faster and hassle-free - exactly what commercial and residential real estate developers and builders need today."
"Because of the unique way in which Millenia units connect and lock in together above and below, the technology solves the problem of overturning. They exceeded my expectations during the construction process. When the soil was compacted, Millenia units did not shift or rotate forward," said Michael Johnson, P.E., Civil Solutions Group, Minneapolis, Minn. "One of the other ways in which Millenia saves time is by eliminating the frustrating problem of broken and cracked corners that installers often get when they position concrete blocks together."
Millenia Wall Solutions is setting the 21st century standard for retaining walls. Millenia's patented Structural Cell Technology™ replaces conventional materials with lightweight units consisting of a confinement cell secured to a rigid frame. Millenia Wall units are available in two sizes: 6 inches high x 12 inches wide x 9 inches deep (one-half square foot) and 8 inches high x 18 inches wide x 12 inches deep (one square foot).
The units are manufactured in 100 percent recycled pre-consumer polymeric resin, offer a decided environmental advantage for sustainable building, and weigh only five pounds per square foot. Unit-to-unit connection locks units together in all directions with unsurpassed holding power and forms solid integral walls with consistent spacing and straight lines. The structural cross ribbing of the frames adds strength and rigidity, and their beveled edges make it easier for installers to form smoothly curved walls.
Attractive faces, caps and corners for the units are fabricated in an array of designs, shapes, sizes and colors with Millenia's patent-pending imaging technology that captures the nuances of natural stone. Millenia faces, caps and corners are available in four styles: SandStone, ChiseledStone, LedgeStone and AshlarStone. Millenia produces each style in five different patterns so that finished walls feature the subtle variations in texture and detail that are characteristic of natural rock formations and quarried stone. Moreover, each style is available in an array of natural colors.
Once the units are set in place and secured, weight is achieved by adding gravel or crushed stone fill. "Rather than installers manually lifting heavy blocks, a front-end loader delivers the weight of the wall to the wall," said Race.
Millenia Walls Solutions is showcasing its remarkable retaining wall system at PCBC 2008, Moscone Center, San Francisco, Calif. Millenia is at booth #6602.

Subramanian's company, Emcien, provides an innovative technology solution that helps manufacturing companies improve profits margins by managing their product mix across their entire supply chain. As a small business CEO herself, Subramanian can specifically provide insights regarding interactions between small business and the large agricultural manufacturers.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 25, 2008 -- Radhika Subramanian, Emcien CEO, has been appointed to the Small Business, Agriculture and Labor Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. The SBAL Advisory Council was formed in 1985 to facilitate communication between the Atlanta Fed and small business, farm, and labor groups in the region, providing additional insight into the issues faced by these groups in today's volatile economy.
Subramanian's company, Emcien, provides an innovative technology solution that helps manufacturing companies improve profits margins by managing their product mix across their entire supply chain. Discrete manufacturing products have proliferated due to market shifts and changing customer demands. The proliferation is causing inventory build up of parts and finished goods, reduced customer satisfaction, and revenue loss.
"Small companies are the heart of the US economy," says Subramanian, 'and Technology is the fastest moving segment of that. The US economy is one of the most powerful because of the breadth of financial instruments available to small business' to fuel their growth.'
As a small business CEO herself, Subramanian can specifically provide insights regarding interactions between small business and the large agricultural manufacturers.
"Radhika will provide vast insight into building small businesses and the particular issues they face," says Sigmund Mosley, Jr., President of Imlay Investments, Inc. 'She has a wonderful ability to communicate her insights to other businesses.'
Subramanian and Emcien have been recognized for technical innovation since 2004. Emcien recently received Phase IIb funding from the National Science Foundation and has current projects with leaders in the Automotive, Heavy Machinery, and Construction segments.
Ms. Subramanian will provide a strong contribution to the SBAL's considerations of small business, technology and manufacturing, and her knowledge, experience and confidence are continually at work changing the manufacturing industry. Says Subramanian, "The next wave of manufacturing efficiency will come from technical innovations to broaden visibility to the entire Product Mix Management structure. Emcien's mission is to lead that change."

Access Management Firm Traka Secures Second Queen's Award
A Buckinghamshire-based company that received the Queen's Award four years ago for its innovative technology, has now won the UK's most prestigious business award again, this time for its international sales.
(PRWEB) June 25, 2008 -- A Buckinghamshire-based company that received the Queen's Award four years ago for its innovative technology, has now won the UK's most prestigious business award again, this time for its international sales.
Traka plc, has won The Queen's Award for Enterprise - International Trade 2008, in recognition of its commercial success and substantial growth in overseas earnings.
Today, 50 per cent of Traka's annual turnover comes from overseas, the company selling its intelligent access management systems to over 22 countries worldwide, to customers as diverse as the Vatican, casinos across the world, parliamentary buildings and international telecoms operators.
The company's clever, key-based systems are relevant to a huge range of organisations, enabling them to control, monitor and record access to their property, facilities, vehicles and equipment.
The ability to manage and protect their resources more effectively reduces operating costs, improves safety and often results in significant improvements in productivity - many customers enjoying a return on their investment in a matter of months.
The Awards are made each year by The Queen, on the advice of the Prime Minister, who is assisted by an advisory committee that includes representatives of Government, industry and commerce, and the trade unions.
Traka's Managing Director, John Kent said the company's 39 employees were enormously proud of their achievement. He added: "I'm absolutely delighted that our continued efforts have been recognised and rewarded - this is a wonderful achievement and reflects more than 12 years' investment in technical innovation, customer understanding and international sales development."
The idea was founded by John Kent in 1990 when British Airways asked him to develop a system to safeguard its airside ground support vehicles.
Since then, Traka has become a world leader in intelligent access management solutions. Its UK customers include police forces, museums, prisons, hospitals, hotels and numerous commercial organisations. Its unique fork truck management system is used by over 9,000 fork trucks in the UK alone.
Marketing Development Manager, Martyn Baker, said: "Four years ago, we received recognition for our innovation. Four years on, it's our success overseas that has been recognised. It's no coincidence. Traka systems are now widely acknowledged to be at the forefront of intelligent access management. Our second Queen's Award will reinforce customer confidence, as we seek to enter new overseas markets during the next phase of our company's development."

About Traka systems:
* The Traka system operates by securely attaching each key or key-set to a special iFob using a security seal where it locks into the Traka electronic cabinet. From there on Traka ensures that only authorised staff with the correct access privileges can gain access to the cabinet and each individual key is independently restricted. The use of each key and every key taken is recorded automatically into a central PC database, showing the key user's name as well as the date and time taken, and equally importantly, when it was returned. Once users are accountable, they take more care of the keys and the equipment they access.
* If a key is not in the cabinet when it should be, there's no need to ask around the office who has taken it - the Traka system will have logged the user automatically when they took the iFob.
* Traka holds all the information on powerful networked software so that long-term records may be stored and maintained to analyse equipment use, identify faulty equipment, show late returns of keys and to prove key usage.
* With Traka there is no argument about who has damaged a vehicle, taken a piece of equipment, received a speeding fine or lost a key. Access to Traka managed keys can be via PIN code, swipe card or fingerprint recognition.
* Traka can incorporate an alcohol testing facility to ensure keys aren't released to operatives of dangerous equipment prior to taking a breath test.
* Traka can help to plan the usage and value of company assets: how long a vehicle has been used for; how often certain files are accessed; and how many times a year a lift motor room has been accessed for maintenance.
* As every iFob has a built-in electronic tag, it doesn't need a label, so anyone finding a lost one won't know what it opens or starts.
* Every Traka system can now give instructions to each user in their native language - so if a worker is Polish, Czech, Spanish or Japanese, they will be able to follow the instructions.
* The iFob, which can be used to operate fork lift trucks, can also collect and store information. It can record that a driver accepts the condition of a fork truck before using it each morning. Its shock sensor can even record if the truck has been in a collision. When an iFob is returned to the Traka cabinet, faults can be reported, ensuring that the equipment is locked out of use until the repair is made.
* iFobs not only grant access to authorised personnel, but they can be programmed to work only at certain hours, or for specific lengths of time. Traka systems can also ensure that any faulty equipment is locked out of general use until repaired, whilst still allowing the service manager access.
* Keys can be reserved in advance for later use, and a reminder is shown on the key display if anyone else tries to take a key when it needs to remain in place for the 'booking'.
New features recently developed by Traka include intelligent electronic lockers. These are being widely adopted for managing equipment used in businesses that are attractive to steal or are prone to being lost or damaged by users. Items such as security radio handsets, personal alarm systems, radio data terminals, PDA's and laptop computers can all be RFID tagged and managed centrally. They can be pre-booked, perhaps remotely, for an operator to use at a specific time and date. Administered from a single PC, assets across an entire organisation can be monitored to see who took them and
