MusicDocs Wanted For Orchestra or Choir
The biggest DoctorsOrchestra of the United States is going on tour through Germany this coming November - there are still places available for MusicDocs (medical doctors, dentists, veterinarians, pharmacists) to play in the orchestra or sing in the choir.
(PRWEB) August 30, 2005 -- Victor S. Wahby, the conductor of the biggest DoctorsOrchestra in the USA (if not in the world) has planned on a tour through "good old Germany" with his orchestra and choir. They are all presented at http://www.MedicalMusical.org on the orchestra’s Website.
Through his Web research he found a good partner in Germany: The president of the association http://www.DoctorsHobbies.com , Wolfgang Ellenberger, himself a concert pianist and medical doctor, has organized two further recitals in Frankfurt (November 12) and Berlin (November 16).
The medical faculty in Frankfurt (Main) is going to host this recital in the "Alte Aula" (like "old hall" which has a wonderful historical outfit and even a pipe organ on stage. The other recital is in Berlin and is hosted by the famous Charité and will be held in the "Audimax" of the Free University of Berlin which has the Charité hospital as part of it.
Especially the Charité is enthusiastic about this event, since an American foundation has given an entire hospital as a present in the 60-ties, and President John F. Kennedy had been honorable member of the Free University.
The National Medical Music Group of Victor Wahby has invited members of more than 20 German DoctorsOrchestras to participate in this event, and whoever is MusicDoc (always including medical doctors, dentists, veterinarians, pharmacists) in the USA or Germany and surrounding countries can participate in these two recitals. Since the rehearsals are just on the same day of the concert the MusicDocs will get the music scores at home beforehand. They should be capable to read music because of this limited rehearsal-situation.
Ellenberger has even given a present to everybody putting the Haydn piano concerto in D major entirely on the web for download of everybody! See http://www.fingering.ch/Haydn and get your download instructions there.
Applications for participating at the two recitals can be done online at http://www.DoctorsHobbies.com/Events and even the ticket sales has begun at the same address exclusively online.
The "profit" of the recitals will be given to health foundations which are handled by the Universities of Frankfurt and Berlin.
This highlight should also bring the attention of the medical industry on a project of the DoctorsHobbies.com association which is described at http://www.PROJECT.docwebs.com and plans a multi-medial meeting point for Docs from the whole world.
